Jesus as ADAM

Part II

After Crucifixion

Dr. Barbara Thiering PhD violated the unwritten rules of Orthodox religious research, that "new" discoveries must be made by men, and only under continued supervision of other men with greater authority! Otherwise she would never have perfected the "Gospel Pesher" and found the complete detailed history of Jesus and the apostles "hidden" by codes in the Gospels, Acts, Paul's epistles, and Revelation!

Including, with major importance to Western Theology, her detail by detail description of the events of March 20-21 [Friday night], 33 AD!

And how it was that Mary Magdalene mistook the "risen" Jesus for "the Gardener" -- ADAM!

Quoting now from "Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls" Barbara Thiering - 1992 . Page 116

....."Jesus did not die on the cross. He recovered from the effects of the poison, was helped to escape from the tomb by friends, and stayed with them until he reached Rome, where he was present in AD 64.

.....This is not conjecture, but comes from a reading of the text by the pesher method...... Its basic assumption is that nothing supernatural took place, no visions; these are fictions for the 'babes'. .....When Jesus 'appeared' in a 'vision' to Peter or Paul in subsequent years, as recorded in Acts, it was the real flesh and blood Jesus; holding an audience with his ministers.

..... He was accepted by them as a high priest, generally appearing in surroundings that lent him an atmosphere of awe and mystery; this was enough to suggest the concept of a 'vision'......... But principally he remained in deep seclusion, living usually in celibate communities. ....He came back into the [Western] world at the regular times required by the marriage rules of the dynastic Essenes. ...Through the 'visions' of his reappearances he guided his ministers, bringing them away from Palestine to settle ultimately in Rome."

......Certain corrections are now possible to Barbara Thiering's conclusions as published in 1992, although her method allowed us to learn a lot about Jesus' life we had no means of knowing before..... Discovery of Jesus' double life made possible by his association with Lord Shiva, an Indian God with an operating vimana or space-craft, now makes it more plausable that Jesus was in Kashmir, or engaged in time/space journeys into the past and future, when not required to be giving instructions to Peter and Paul. ..Or making Mary Magdalene pregnant again according to a set Essene schedule. ...Not "hiding" in celibate Essene communities. ..m.And these "visions" may indeed have been more spooky and mysterious than Thiering has proposed, Jesus having at his disposal all the technology we now have, and some not yet available to our earthly governments! ....He could indeed seem to appear "out of nowhere" and disappear again into "nowhere", in a Star Trek "beam me down Scotty" fashion with Lord Shiva's cooperation!

Description of the "tomb" of Jesus at Qumran.

"Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls" Barbara Thiering - 1992 . Page 121

///."The remains of the cave, or rather two adjoined caves, on the cliff-side below the end of the esplanade, can still be seen today. The path is still visible and partly usable. The outer wall of the main cave, the roof of which collapsed in antiquity, can be seen from below and beside the cliff, although it is obscured from the top.

....Archaeologists made a brief survey there in 1955, looking for manuscripts, and have left a short description. Discoveries in the Judean Deserts III, pp. 27-31. ...They observed that there were once two linked caves, although very little of them is left.... The main one, called Cave 7, was directly below the end of the esplanade, reached by the path, and then by steps at its north-west corner. The lower steps are still there.... At its south-west corner was Cave 8, the means of entry to which could no longer be seen.... Pottery, lamps, and other remains of occupation were found, including part of a sandal and remains of dates, figs, and olives....... The oil lamp in Cave 8 certainly belonged to the second phase of the occupation of Qumran.

.....Cave 8 looked directly across to Cave 4 on the next projection, divided off by the chasm. ....Through the windows it was possible for a person in 8 to speak across to someone in 4....... Luke's parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus gives such a setting for 'Abraham's Bosom' and the Cave of the Rich Man, and supplies the first clue that 7 and 8 constituted the Cave of the Rich Man where Jesus was placed. Luke 16:19-31.

......The Rich Man of Luke's parable was in 'Hades'. .......In the reproduction Jerusalem [Qumran was ebvisioned as a miniature replica of Jerusalem], the end of the esplanade must have constituted the beginning of the 'valley of Hinnom', the valley to the south of the real Jerusalem.......... It was called Gehenna, or 'Hades'. as the place where continual fires burned the rubbish.

.....It appears that Cave 7 and Cave 8 were joined, with a single entrance to both via the steps at the north-west corner of 7. ....The steps came down from the path to the roof, in which a large hole gave a means of access. .....It was this hole that was blocked by the stone when entry was forbidden."

John 19:31 "The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross over the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

32 Then came the soldiers , and broke the legs of the first, and of the other that was crucified with him.

33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs.

34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water."

...."In the eastern cave, Cave 7, Simon Magus and Judas were laid, unable to walk [the Roman soldiers had broken their legs], dressed in their white vestments which were now their burial clothes. .......Both of them, being levitical celebates, were 'angels'....... Jesus was placed in Cave 8, which was used as the actual latrine."

How the resurrection was brought about.

"Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls" Barbara Thiering - 1992 . Page 122

....."The guard who was placed outside was the normal attendant at the Sabbath latrine.... He was the lowest priest, with the special duty of ensuring that the uncleanness regulations were kept... His name was Ananas the Younger, and he was the youngest of the Annas brothers.

Ananus the Younger Youngest son of the first Ananus... A Sadducee, he was high priest of the Jews for a short period in 62, and again subsequently. ...A young man during the gospel period, he came under the influence of Jesus, and as a guard at the burial cave helped Jesus to recover and escape. ........He remained loyal to Agrippa 1, and was associated with Paul during the reign of Agrippa 11.........Other names Zacchaeus, Sosthenes, the (Phillipian) Jailer.

......Later in the history he would take a significant place. ...On political questions, he was the enemy of Simon Magus. ..He was particularly suitable to be on guard, because he would prevent any attempt to remove Simon before 1 a.m., the latest extension of Friday by Simon's method of counting.

.....An additional guard arrived, in the person of Theudas... He had the duty of night guard, between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., patrolling the southern end of the grounds.

Note by Dr. Bob Holt, md. These Essenes appointed as guards were not simply pacifist monks who wouldn't hurt anybody. ....The Judean Desert then and now has armed robbers who might at any time attack the Qumran monastery for food, arms, clothing, or the considerable treasure that the Essenes were known to store there. Indeed Theudas, now coming on guard duty was the Barabbas of the Crucifixion story..... Other names: Prodigal Son, Thaddaeus, Legion, Nicodemus, 'Earthquake'

.....Theudas had a degree of sympathy with Jesus, and had left the medicines near him in the cave. ...Ananus also had no great hostility to him personally. Ananus appears as Zacchaeus in Luke 19:2-10 , an episode in December AD 32.

John 19:39 "And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pounds weight.

40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in llinen clothes with the spices, as the manner of Jews is to bury.

41 Now in the place where he was crucified [at Qumran] there was a garden [symbolic "Garden of Eden"]; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.

42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand."

Note by Dr. Bob Holt, md. Barbara Thiering PhD was not the first to note the details of the crucifixion and burial of Jesus in John's Gospel that make it possible to show Jesus was not really dead when he was taken down from the cross. ......Hugh Schonfield had already written the best-selling The Passover Plot, and Donovan Joyce had written The Jesus Scroll in the 1970s....... In The Jesus Scroll, Jesus was still alive in 70 AD and was present at Masada when almost 1000 Jewish Zealots [and Essenes] committed mass suicide.

What Thiering has done here is to identify enough details to place the crucifixion at Qumran, not at Jerusalem proper. ....At Qumran, with its rigid sabbath rules, and the small squad of Pilate's soldiers outnumbered by Essenes, many of them armed, Pilate was more likely to wish to get this unpleasant job over with, and get back to Jerusalem, where there was better security for him, and more soldiers.

....The medicines [myrrh and aloes as a purgitive] needed to be administered by someone with professional skills, and the Magus had such skills. .....Theudas decided to take the chance and help Jesus.....His own sabbath did not begin until midnight, with an extension to 1 a.m.; up to that time he could lift a burden. Ananus also used western times. ........Theudas, who was superior to Ananas in rank, enlisted his aid to lift up the stone blocking the entrance.

.....The two men slid down a sloping shaft into the corridor below. Gaining the assent of Simon, they lifted him into the western chamber. ...Lying beside Jesus, he was able to administer the medicines and bring about the expulsion of the poison.

......To do his work he needed light. There was an oil lamp in the cave, and his helpers lit it.... Down on the plain, in the queen's house, which was in line with the end of the esplanade, Mary Magdalene was looking up at the cliff where she knew the burial cave was. ...She saw a light appearing in the western chamber, and realized that something was happening.

......Pregnant women were exempt from sabbath rules, as they might have to give birth on the sabbath. Taking her own lamp, she came the two thousand cubits up to the plateau, then down to the cave, arriving there at midnight. John 20:1

On the steps, she saw that the stone was removed from the hole over the cave, and was able to see also that Simon was in the western chamber.

John 20:1 "The first day of the week [actually sabbath, but made to appear as Sunday] cometh Mary Magdalene early [very early, soon after midnight], when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and see the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other desciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him."

.....The best thing to do was to go back to the buildings and fetch Peter and John Mark. Mary went back up the path, roused them and told them what she had seen.

......Her information, that Simon was with Jesus, told John Mark what had happened. Jesus was probably recovered, and would need help. ....He and Peter would be permitted to enter by Theudas, to care for the sick....... They came down to the cave and went in, Peter taking the lead.

......Simon had by then been carried back to the eastern side, and the two guards were outside....... It was 1 a.m., and they were now bound by sabbath law, they were not permitted to lift a burden, but had to rest.

John 20:7 "And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself."

......Simon had inadvertently left behind a sign of his presence in the western chamber; his headcloth (soudarion).John 20:7 John and Peter saw it and knew that Mary had told the truth; Simon had been there.

......The two men found Jesus alive, but lying in a weakened state. It was agreed that he must be removed from the cave, even though it meant breaking the sabbath rule, and one of them went to fetch a litter to carry him.

.......Then Mary, on the steps outside, stooped and looked down the opening into the east cave, where the two 'angels' were. They knew that she was in the status of a separated wife, not permitted to be in contact with her husband, but they indicated to her that she had permission to go into the western chamber.John 20:11-12 Hopou "where" , means the western chamber.

Why Mary thought Jesus was "the gardener" [Adam] at Jesus' resurrection

......"Mary came down the shaft and turned towards the west.John 20:14 Ta opiso means "the west". ........In the dim light she saw Jesus standing, but, assuming him to be lying down, she thought it was someone else...... Because of a physical similarity; she thought it might be his brother James..... James was now officially the king, so an 'Adam', the Gardener; (as Adam was in the Garden of Eden; the king was understood as the new Adam)."

......She expressed her willingness to help lift Jesus.... The man standing spoke to her one word; 'Mary'..... She then knew that it was Jesus, and went to touch him. He said 'Do not touch me'; he was not yet cleansed from the effects of his illness." [the myrrh and aloes had caused both vomiting and diarrhea] .

John 20:17 "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."

Note by Dr. Bob Holt, md. Barbara Thiering PhD saw in this statement only that Jesus was covered with filth and vomit and did not wish to hug Mary Magdalene in this unkempt state....... However, since December 2002 [10 years after Thiering's book was freely available], it is possible to say Lord Shiva was Jesus' 'Heavenly Father' and was at that moment hovering overhead in His vimana ready to 'beam up' Jesus and restore him to excellent health with the best medical technology the Universe has to offer us humans.

The pesher history shows that by sabbath evening, less than 12 hours later, Jesus was well enough to walk the seven miles uphill and over rough terrain to Mar Saba.... And after resting the daylight hours [too hot to hike] at Mar Saba [Emmaus] he continued on to Jerusalem by again walking all night...... Monday morning [three days exactly after his crucifixion] Jesus was seen by hundreds of Essenes as he blessed the food at their morning meal at the Essene Gate of Jerusalem.
