While both Jerry McLamb, seen above with the ad he placed in the
Fayetteville newspaper, and Edgar Wisenant, pictured on our right,
were dedicated Christans, they had a blind spot........
That blind spot was their own health, and all the Bible had to say
about eating pork.... They were willing to
believe that none of the dietary laws in the Laws of Moses applied to them,
and to Christians in general.
Their belief in the Rapture of the Saints was made more sweet
by the idea that no tribulation would come upon them, and on "True
Believers".
Edgar's Diabetes went out of control, and Jerry McLamb eventually had
heart coronary bypass surgery! |
