Note that a TREE is prominent in the above picture, and is placed centrally, right beneath the lower of two triangular structures carved by the stone-carvers on the obelisk..... As the tree of life is central to the Garden of Eden, so is this tree central to the "Garden" of Kashmir. ...Where Jesus Christ is thought to be buried in a section called the Roza Bal, or "Garden of Roses". ...A sign outside a building there that protects two ancient tombs proclaims these to be the tombs of Sayed Nasir-u-Din and Yusu Asaph or Hazrat Issa.... These last two names are believed to be the Indian and Muslim names for Jesus Christ of the Christian Gospels.

Beneath the tree I have colored a horizontal line blue to represent the "River of Life" flowing by the trunk of the "Tree of Life" at the point where it connects with the ground. ..........The "River of Life" is a part of the REVELATION description of the "New Jerusalem" that comes down from heaven to earth, supposedly at the "End of the Age" in Revelation chapter 21. ........Beneath the tree stand two figures I have colored pink, the new "Adam and Eve"......The theology suggested here goes just as well with the Eastern concept of reincarnation as it does with the Pauline-emphasized concept of the "Resurrection of the Dead".

Over the head of King Meghavahana, as he sits on his throne with the lamb on his lap, the ewe close by, and the wolf and lion standing guard, not killing anything, is a rainbow, which I have here colored appropriately.

The rainbow was not a feature of the Garden of Eden, but represents the "Rainbow Promise" given to Noah and his little family of 8 human beings after the waters of the great flood subsided. ....It is also a prominent feature of Revelation chapter 10, in which Jesus, the prophet of REVELATION, forecasts the new "Age of Aquarius".

Over to the right side, left white in color, are three figures I feel represent the "Three Angels" of Revelation 14. ...These "Three Angels" and their messages had an important part in Seventh-day Adventist theology and evangelical preaching up until the 1950's......Nowadays such preaching is suppressed as Adventists have gone back to emphasis on an earlier TREE of DELUSION, the CRUCIFIX and MASS, represented also on the Phalgam mural, but not on the portion shown here.

As King of Kashmir from 25 AD to 59 AD, Jesus Christ was know as MEG-HAVA-HANA......"HAVA" is the Hebrew word for "LIFE" and for "EVE", which also goes along with the "Garden of Eden" theme of the Phalgam obelisk. ....In the newest Hebrew Bibles in English the name is "Eve", with a footnote. ...."The man named his wife Eve, [b] because she was the mother of all the living." .[b] Heb. haw-wah. [vau can be pronounced as a "v", a "u", an "o" or a "w". R.F.H.].

Translated into Hebrew, "MEGHAVAHANA" can mean "Let all living beings praise God". .....Or as Jesus revealed his name in Kashmir in REVELATION,

"And a voice came out from the throne [of KASHMIR, the throne shown on the Phalgam obelisk], saying, PRAISE our GOD, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small [animals] and great [human beings, male and female, "Adam and Eve"]. Revelation 19:5
