....Using the new techniques of "Gospel Pesher" publicised by Dr. Barbara Thiering, PhD of Australia, best demonstrated in "Jesus and the Riddles of the Dead Sea Scrolls" in 1992, the European genealogist and writer Sir Laurence Gardner was able by 1996 to publish "Bloodline of the Holy Grail" [Element 1996] from which the following information was partly derived... ....At least in part, and mostly symbolically, present and past British royalty is known as the "Court of Saint James" in honor of James the brother of Jesus Christ.....And also partly because a number of kings of Scotland and England were named "James". InIndeed, one might suggest that the "King James Bible" is named partly in honor of Saint James, the brother of Jesus Christ. ....Although the Roman Catholic Church has since the sixth century AD been hostile to any suggestion that Jesus Christ was ever married and had children, this is not true of James, the brother of Jesus. ...Whether or not James was the son of Mary [the Virgin] is another Church "hot topic", but everyone admits he was the son of Joseph, the husband of the Virgin Mary, and therefore of the direct line of King David, if one is to believe the New Testament genealogies of Matthew 1 and Luke 4 at all.

.....Gardner is able [thanks to Thiering's research and his own] to identify "King Arthur" of the famous tales of the "Round Table" as Arthur of Dalraida, a Scottish Celtic chieften who reigned until 603 in Dalraida, at which time he was killed in a historic battle by his own son Modred, who fought on the other side. .........In his genealogies, Sir Laurence shows Arthur's father to be Aedan Mac Gabran, descended through a long line of royal Britons [including Bran the Blessed, Penardun, Lleiffer Mawr, and Confer of Strathclyde] from "Joseph of Arimathea" [who was in reality "Saint James" the brother of Jesus Christ].

... Aedan Mac Gabran was married to Ygerna del Acqs, whose ancestors were the "Fisher Kings" of France, Boaz [Anfortas], and Aminadab, son of Josue, son of Joseph the Rama-Theo, son of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene.

.....Arthur of Dalraida was the son of Aedan Mac Gabran and Ygerna del Acqs, and although Modred, Arthur's "illegitimate" son died, there are still many more lines of descent tracible by genealogy in Gardner's book to Saint James, the brother of Jesus. And other lines tracible to the "French Merovingian Kings", descended, it is widely believed, from Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

....These genealogies are clearly traced by Sir Laurence Gardner to the Stewart Kings of Scotland, and sometimes all of Great Britain.

.....Robert the Bruce [a Stewart or Stuart] defeated the English at Bannockborn in 1314, and achieved Scottish independence, and in 1603-1625 James VI of Scotland reigned as James I of England.

....Charles I, son of James I married Henrietta Maria, the daughter of Henry IV, king of France, and reigned from 1625 to 1649 at which time he was executed when the Commonwealth was declared. ..In 1660 the monarchy was restored with Charles II [a Stuart]. .....James II (VII of Scots) reigned from 1685-1688. .....If the Stuarts were to regain the monarchy, Charles Edward Stuart, Duke of Abany, would now be king, instead of the Winsors [not of the Grail Bloodine].

....In the early English traditions, it was not known that "Joseph of Arimathea" was in actuality James the brother of Jesus. ...This information is Dr. Barbara Thiering's modern contribution to clearing up these ancient puzzles, many of them caused or intentionally maintained by the Roman Catholic church to maintain the fiction of a perpetual virginity for Mary, and to fight the tradition of the Grail Bloodline.

....It was said that Joseph of Arimathea was a ship-owner and rich merchant who went back and forth continualy between the British Isles and Rome dealing in lead and tin from the Cornwall mines. The tin was needed to make copper hard as bronze. ..And the lead was used to make pipes to carry water and sewage in the great cities of the Roman Empire.... Joseph of Arimathea was definately Jewish, and related to Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary in some ill-defined way no one dared to elaborate on.

....When I visited the Glastonbury area in 1993, I was shown a spring from which Jesus Christ as a young boy carried water to his mother, the Virgin Mary, in a little hut that he helped Joseph of Arimathea build for her to stay in...... Joseph, in his frequent boat trips from Judea and Israel to the British Isles, had carried the "Holy Family" with him, while the supposedly "older" brothers [cousins?] of Jesus tended the carpenter's shop. ...I stopped at the little book shop near "Mary's" spring to buy some of the books containing the tales and traditions I am relating to you here. ..Towns and sites all over Somerset and Cornwall have stories of a visit by the youthful Jesus.

....After the crucifixion of Christ, the Joseph of Arimathea tradition becomes stronger that Joseph came back to Great Britain with 11 or 12 other men who were intent on spreading the new Christian "Gospel" to the Druids in the Somerset area where Glastonbury Cathedral or church was later located. The local king gave them a grant of land, on which they did not have to pay taxes, and they built there a large round wattle [mud and stick] hut for a church, and surrounding it in a circle, twelve smaller round huts for the "missionaries" to live in. This new teaching that Jesus was indeed "God" or at least a "Savior" was successful from the very first. Partly because the Druids promoted a "Trinity" of gods, consisting of the Creator God of the past, the Savior God of the Present, and a Coming Redeemer of the Future. The Present God in this Druid Trinity they called Jesu or Yesu, so Jesus fit right into this ready-made theology.

.....Glastonbury also claims King Arthur as their one-time resident, as well as Saint Patrick, the later Irish Saint. ..I saw the site where King Arthur was supposedly buried with his golden-haired wife Guinivere. ...Sir Laurence Gardner has corrected Guinevere to the more correct spelling of Gwenhwyfar or Gwynefer, and evidently there was no love affair between her and Sir Lancelot. ..Where the lake was back then is now a meadow, with a lazy stream winding through it. ...One can climb the hill to an ancient tower and survey the land below once called "Avalon". ...Camelot was far away, and indeed at this late date it is hard to identify exactly where it was!

.....There is some evidence the grave of King Arthur at Glastonbury may be a hoax, but it pays not to be so critical. ..And I and Sue Olsson are collaborating on some "Pesher" information that indicates that "Excalibur", the famed magic sword of King Arthur was real, and may be hidden among other relics in Kashmir.
