The Debate has raged on in both conservative and Fundamentalist Catholic and Protestant Christian denominations about whether or not the sounds that can be heard, both spoken and sung, at almost any Pentecostal Church, and nowadays quite a few other churches without a Pentecostal label, can indeed be called a "language" or "tongue", and indeed if they serve any useful purpose to those who make these sounds or listen to them!  Prejudice exists, and in some places it is severe!

    Criticism comes mainly from those churches who have existed for many centuries, and have developed over their long existence customs and doctrines and dogmas that they are willing to defend against all newcomers in the Religious World as being the only right and proper ways of worshipping God, and all variations, in these churches and in their congregations' viewpoints, should be shunned, and indeed punished, if it is in the power of these organizations to do so. 

     There being now considerable Religious Liberty, and some degree of Religious Toleration,  at least in most of the United States of America, Canada, Australia, and modern Europe, it has become possible for Pentecostalism and Charismatic utterances to not only be tolerated, but indeed spread like wildfire in such areas, and perhaps half a billion people now feel free to experience the power of God's Holy Spirit, and do and say and sing whatever comes out of their minds and mouths, both individually and in chorus, until at times their churches are as noisy and exuberant as a Rock Concert or Sports event.

      Their critics know this to be true, and accuse these people and their churches of being possessed by demons at the worse, or of mental instability or vastly inappropriate behavior at best, and make impassioned pleas to not subject the "ears" of Almighty God to such inappropriate  sounds in the name of Religious Worship and Praise.

      I'm here presenting what I believe to be the "Truth" in regards to these matters, both by presenting carefully documented historical examples in this section of my web site, and Biblical Proof in other sections, that God, and Divine Beings that Biblical authors accepted as being "good" not "evil" were causing, and allowing to happen similar actions and sounds in the days of King Saul and David of Judah. And perhaps in a more limited fashion in the time of Jesus Christ and his twelve apostles.
