, QUESTION: Why are the ministers, priests, evangelists, professors of Religion, and Theologians of every major Christian religion, both Catholic and Protestant suppressing knowledge of the Essenes since the discoveries at Qumran and the Dead Sea Scrolls after 1948?

ANSWER: While spokespersons for each of the organizations and groups of Christian organizations mentioned will deny that there is any suppression of an organized type, it's obvious to most of us that there is a type of suppression going on. It's the SAME TYPE of suppression that the Church of the Dark Ages and Middle Ages used very successfully to eliminate this type of information originally -- the knowledge is not mentioned, promoted, and published, and eventually people FORGET that it ever existed! Indeed, people with great influence and power are hoping that what you will be reading on these pages will be seen by as few people as possible! As you read on, if you choose to do so, you'll discover WHY this is so. The information is a MAJOR THREAT to the POWER and INFLUENCE these people are used to, and hope to be able to continue using for the foreseeable future. Providing, of course, that information about the REAL LIVES of Jesus and the TWELVE APOSTLES never gets out in a form in which everyone can read it and understand it, such as on the Internet on a web site such as this one!

QUESTION: Why do not the Jewish Rabbis and Researchers have more to say about how and why an ancient Jewish religious organization, which the Essenes most assuredly were, has had such a major effect on the religious thought and ethics of the Western world -- certainly true if we admit they are the father (or mother) of the Christian religion. ?

ANSWER: Those Jewish writers who have been published and received the most attention have been very negative about the Essenes, claiming they were an unimportant fanatical group with little influence on either Phariseiaical Judaism or the Hassidim, the two major Jewish religious groups of today. There are two other important reasons for Jews ignoring the Essenes, and down-grading their importance. One is that Christians don't want to be confronted with the TRUE IMPORTANCE of the Essenes, and since the Jews have nothing to gain here, they don't want to "fix" something that neither group feels is "broken." The second reason is MONEY, always important in a country like Israel, that depends on Tourism to finance a major portion of that nation's economy. If tourists were to learn in a convincing way that Jesus and the 12 Apostles spent most of their time for 3 1/2 years in a 6 km strip of the Judaean Desert, a lot of hotels, tour buses, and tour organizations in Galilee and Bethlehem, and the Jerusalem area are going to lose a lot of revenue.

ANSWER: The Arabs and Palestinians who live in those parts of Israel where the gospels deceptively record Jesus as spending time, performing miracles, and preaching are also making a good living on the money spent by Western world Christian tourists. Also, those Muslims who believe the Koran see Jesus only as a dead prophet, not much different than Moses and Mohammed, so it's of much less importance to them than it is to those Christians who are thrilled to be walking in the footsteps of the God who will, at their deaths, provide them with new bodies, eternal life. and a home in Paradise!

ANSWER: Their belief that Jesus is God, part of the Divine Trinity made Christian Dogma in 325 AD, and their belief in "Justification by Faith" in what the "Divine Jesus" has done and will do for each and every one of them personally.

QUESTION: Was the Essene HOLY GHOST or HOLY SPIRIT part of a Holy Trinity?

ANSWER: The Records in the Bible and Dead Sea Scrolls DO NOT show any tendency of the Essenes to create a "Trinity" of God having three personalities. God does, however, have a "Spirit" or "Wind" that allows Him to extend His power to wherever He needs to extend this power. A smaller group of Essenes, called the "Egyptian Therapeautae" were familiar with an old Egyptian tradition of Three Gods as a Trinity, but one of these three divine personages was female, not male -- the Goddess Isis. Gnostic Essenes, of which there were several different kinds, had a major Goddess named Sophia or Barbelo, whose major emphasis or specialty was WISDOM, and it was SHE, not YHWH who created the creatures and humans who inhabit this world.
