IT MAY BE WHAT OUR CURRENT WORLD NEEDS!

   On this page I will attempt to do quite a few things that some will not only disapprove of, but also declare that I am a follower of Satan, not Jesus Christ!   But since I believe him to be the world's greatest prophet, I cannot expect otherwise than this to happen, for his critics accused him of the same thing!  Being a follower of Beelzebub or Satan!

     Matthew 12:22 "Then there was brought unto him (Jesus) one possessed by a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw."

 Perhaps, Praise the Lord, we can with this Web Page duplicate Jesus' miracle here today.  There's more than one type of blindness! And a lot of people are dumb whose mouths run most of the time!

    23 "And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the

son of David?

   Now King David, in two genealogies, one in Matthew and one in Luke, the ancestor of Jesus Christ, was among other things,

a musician,

who composed songs, sang songs, and played a stringed instrument while he sang -- and by doing so, was able to cast evil spirits out of King Saul, his employer and King at the time these things were happening.

When Jesus Christ, his descendent, cast out this evil spirit, he may have been singing also, it doesn't say!

   However, the Gospels and Acts are not the only New Testament Books written about Jesus Christ, as we will now discover together, you and I.  Jesus is a MAJOR ACTOR or "Player" in the Bible Book of REVELATION, and a very MUSICAL actor or player, as you will now get an opportunity to see!   And Jesus Himself had a lot to do with this account!

    Now admittedly these photos and illustrations I've shown you gleaned from other Internet Web Pages other than my own showing Jesus (or someone dressed up and made up to look like Jesus) is shown playing various modern musical instruments have minimal support in the 4 Gospels, where there is no clearly stated text saying that Jesus ever sang a note, recited a Psalm at any length, or played a single note on any stringed instrument.  That does not mean, however, that there is no New Testament Biblical support for the

because in the Book of REVELATION, definitely a part of the New Testament, Jesus is indeed not only MUSICAL, but the LEADER of His own Musical Group, and I will next direct you to the page on which I'll introduce --

    This All-Harp Orchestra of Jesus is not just a One-Chapter Phenomenon, like some of the other themes in Revelation --

But is a MAJOR THEME, that keeps popping up and coming back every few chapters until it peaks in chapter 16 as the

GRAND FINALE',

which shows that Jesus, obviously the writer, knows how to write a SYMPHONY!

THE STAGE IS DESCRIBED AND THE AUDITORIUM WITH

A BOX OR SPECIAL SEATS FOR HONORED GUESTS -

A TRUMPET BLAST ALERTS

EVERYONE THE SHOW IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

   Revelation 4:1 "After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were a TRUMPET talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will

show you things ---"

   4 "And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty ELDERS sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."

    6 "And before the throne there was a SEA of GLASS like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind."

(As the various episodes or "movements" of this orchestral presentation or "show" continue, we'll discover that this SEA of GLASS is both the MAIN AUDITORIUM and also the STAGE on which the 144,000 play their harps!)

ACT 1

MUSICAL PRELUDE

  Revelation 5:1 "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

    2 "And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?"

   5 "And one of the ELDERS saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the

LION of the Tribe of Juda,

the Root of David,

  hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof."

    8 "And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and         twenty ELDERS fell down before the LAMB, ---

     having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints.

     9 "And they sang a new song, saying,

  "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

    10 "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."

    11 "And I beheld, and I heard

the voice of many angels

round about the throne

and the beasts and the elders;

and the number of them was

ten thousand times ten thousand.

saying with a loud voice,

  "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing."

JESUS AND HIS HARPISTS!

    Revelation 14:1 "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him

having his Father's name written in their foreheads.  2 "And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder;

harpers harping with their harps.

    Revelation 14:3 "And they SANG as it were a NEW SONG before the throne, and before the FOUR BEASTS, and the ELDERS; and no one could learn that song but the

144,000,

which were redeemed

from the earth.

    Revelation 14:4 "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. (Ha, that's a laugh!) These are they which follow the LAMB whithersoever he goeth. (Now that's more believable. "Groupies" always are found following charismatic music stars "wherever they go.") These were REDEEMED from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the LAMB."

(True in the sense that this is where Contemporary Christian

music got it's start!)

My POINT is that here, in REVELATION, Jesus shows both

an interest in MUSIC, and an aptitude in ADAPTING IT to

make whatever POINT he is making at the time.

 
 

ACT 5

JESUS AT MASADA

WITH THE 144,000 HARPISTS

AND THEIR TRAGIC FINAL PERFORMANCE!

  Now I don't have time and space available right here and now to give you the whole story of why I am certain that Jesus himself was at Masada and personally wrote Revelation 15 and 16.  The idea is not original with me.  It was Donovan Joyce, an Australian journalist who went to Masada and according to his story, which he never recanted, was prevented by the Jews from visiting that historic site while it was being excavated by Yigal Yadin.  But he claims to have met at that time a dishonest archaeologist who smuggled out of Israel a clay pot in which was a scroll similar in type to the Dead Sea Scrolls.  A scroll written by Jesus while at Masada with the one thousand Jewish Zealots who committed suicide all together in 73 AD rather than surrender to the Roman tenth legion.

     I first found out about the existence of Donovan Joyce's book The Jesus Scroll because it was quoted in Holy Blood/Holy Grail and Messianic Legacy.  Joyce was confronted with the task of explaining how Jesus had a son that was crucified at Masada -- one of several bits of information he actually saw with his own eyes on the smuggled scroll, and the archaeologist read the Aramaic writing to him in the hopes that Joyce would help him get the scroll past Israel's airport security check. A married Jesus was a novel idea in the 1970s.

    By the time I tracked down and copied one of the few remaining copies of The Jesus Scroll in the University of Florida of Miami - West, I had the advantage over Donovan Joyce of having studied Dr. Barbara Thiering's Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls and knew that Jesus indeed have a son named Jesus Justus that is mentioned in the New Testament, who was old enough, in his mid-20s, to be crucified at Masada.  So I was ready by 1993 to see the Seven Bowl Plagues of Revelation 15 and 16 as being an eyewitness account of the events that occurred there in 70-73 AD.

    The "sea of glass mingled with fire" of Revelation 15:2 is the Dead Sea as seen from Masada.  The first angel poured out his bowl ("vial" in the KJV) upon the Roman soldier of the 10th legion (those with the mark of the beast) the grievious sores being caused by wearing heavy armor in the sweat and heat of that location, one of the hottest on earth.

   Revelation 16:3 "And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea: and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living thing died in the sea."  (How much more obvious can one get when one is actually talking about the DEAD SEA?)

   Revelation 16:4 "And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood." (The MASADA Movie actually showed the Zealots of Masada poisoning all the local water-holes and wells and springs in that area by contaminating them with blood from slaughtered animals so the Romans couldn't use the water).

    Revelation 16:8 "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire." (Always true at Masada, as I said, one of the hottest spots on earth!)

The Grand Finale' on the

"Sea of Glass"

by the 144,000 Harpists

    Revelation 15:2 "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten

the victory over the beast,

and over his image,

and over his mark,

and over the number of his name

(the Roman 10th Legion, whose soldiers were

branded with the  Roman numeral "X" for "10"),

stand on the sea of glass

having the harps of God

   Revelation 15:3 "And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou

King of Kings!"
