JESUS WAS A JEWISH RABBI, NOT "GOD"!
THIS IS WHAT THE GOSPELS CLEARLY SHOW US, BUT NOT WHAT THE APOSTLE PAUL TRIES TO TEACH US GENTILES TO BELIEVE, BUT THEN, PAUL HAD A DIFFERENT AGENDA, TO FOOL PEOPLE WHO BELIEVED IN PAGAN GODS INTO BELIEVING THAT JESUS WAS ANOTHER SUCH PAGAN GOD, BUT BETTER THAN MOST SUCH GODS. JESUS COULD DO THIS "GOD THING" BETTER, WITH PAUL'S HELP, OF COURSE! WHICH WAS INDEED TRUE! SO FAR AS THIS "TRUTH" WAS MEANT TO ACCOMPLISH! LUKE 4:14 "And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about." 15 "And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all." (He was not only a Jewish Rabbi, teaching in Jewish synagogues like other Jewish Rabbis, but he became good at it, quite famous, and a sought-after speaker!) 16 "And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read." 17 "And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias (Isaiah). And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor: --" (The audience liked this part of his "sermon" but not what he said a few minutes later, but -- Hey! No Jewish Rabbi gets 100% acceptance of what he has to say, either then nor now!)
JESUS, as a Jewish Rabbi preached and taught a lot about LIGHT and DARKNESS, which was a favorite theme of the ESSENES of those days, who called themselves THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT. And others, who did not AGREE with the doctrines of the ESSENES, and would not live the way the ESSENES lived, nor practice the type of religion the ESSENES practiced, (Good Works and Holiness), they called THE CHILDREN OF DARKNESS!
ACTORS POSING AS "ESSENE SCRIBES" FOR AN ISSUE ON THE ESSENES DONE YEARS AGO BY "NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE". THIS WORLD-FAMOUS CRITICAL MAGAZINE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE NOW WELL-RESEARCHED SUBJECT AND AGREED THAT -- "Yes, there were Essenes! And-- Yes, some of them lived at Qumran, by the Dead Sea! And, -- Yes, some of them were scribes, and were responsible for copying and editing the scrolls found in clay jars hidden now for 1900 years in the caves near Qumran and the DEAD SEA. One of these scrolls, the main scroll of the Essenes that spells out in great detail their regulated LIFE-STYLE reads in part -- "He shall admit into the Covenant of Grace all those who have freely devoted themselves to the observance of God's precepts that they may be joined to the counsel of God and may live a life perfectly before Him in accordance with all that has been revealed concerning their appointed times, and that they may love all the sons of light, each according to his lot in God's design, and hate all the sons of darkness, each according to his guilt in God's vengeance."
There is sufficient correspondence between the religion of the Essenes revealed in these scrolls, and what John and Matthew and other Gospel writers have written in the Gospels for reasonable people, such as myself, to be certain that we're talking about a similar religion, with the Gospel writers either Essenes themselves, or very familiar with what Essenes taught and practiced. John's Gospel 12:35 Jesus speaking, "--Yet a little while is the LIGHT with you. Walk while ye have the LIGHT, lest DARKNESS come upon you: for he that walketh in DARKNESS knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 "While ye have LIGHT, believe in the LIGHT, that ye may be the CHILDREN of LIGHT."
ESSENES participated in a HOLY MEAL at QUMRAN in a VESTRY connected to the QUMRAN MONASTERY that was identical to the meal recorded in the Gospels we call the "LORD'S SUPPER" or the "LAST SUPPER". In it Jesus set up the CORRESPONDENCE between the broken bread passed around, and the wine passed around to be sipped or bread dipped into it and his death on the cross, scheduled for the next day.
This has been turned into a ceremony practiced weekly by Catholic Christians as the "MASS". Catholics believe this ceremonial bread and wine, over which their priests have uttered certain words or phrases, usually in Latin, confers ETERNAL LIFE on those who participate who are Catholic and have gone to confession before a Catholic priest before this ceremony.
This ETERNAL LIFE is for Catholics only, and Protestants and Jews and Muslims need not apply nor participate. The "Magic" will not work for them!
IN 325 AD, AFTER THE CHRISTIAN BISHOPS WERE INVITED TO NICAEA IN FRANCE BY THE ROMAN EMPEROR CONSTANTINE "THE GREAT" (NOW SAINT CONSTANTINE) BY ROMAN CATHOLIC DECREE, THEY, AT HIS REQUEST DECLARED JESUS CHRIST, NOT SEEN BY ANYONE FOR AT LEAST 200 YEARS, TO BE GOD, EQUAL IN EVERY WAY TO THE JEWISH GOD JEHOVAH OR YAHWEH. BY 50 YEARS LATER, THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS ADDED TO THESE TWO EQUAL NEW GODS OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE TO BECOME THE DIVINE TRINITY.
ANYONE WHO REFUSED TO BELIEVE IN AND HONOR AND WORSHIP THE EMPIRE'S NEW GOD(S), THE DIVINE TRINITY, WAS DAMNED, BY BOTH THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND THE POLITICAL LEADERS OF THE WESTERN WORLD, TO AT DEATH BURN IN HELL FOREVER!
NOW AS A CHILD IN UTAH, I WAS NEVER TAUGHT THIS "BURN IN HELL FOREVER" NONSENSE, THOUGH I'VE DISCOVERED THAT MOST CHURCH-ATTENDING CHRISTIANS, BOTH CATHOLIC AND PROTESTANT, DO INDEED BELIEVE THIS WILL BE THEIR FATE IF THEY DON'T ATTEND CHURCH REGULARLY, PAY THEIR "TITHE", AND DO WHATEVER ELSE THEIR PRIEST OR MINISTER ASKS THEM TO DO! AND AS A PROTESTANT, NOT A CATHOLIC, I WAS TAUGHT BY MY PARENTS THAT THE BREAD AND GRAPE JUICE SERVED AT SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS AT THEIR VERSION OF THE "LORD'S SUPPER" (USUALLY VERY POORLY ATTENDED) WAS DEFINITELY NOT CHRIST'S BODY AND BLOOD, AND THAT CATHOLIC PRIESTS WERE LYING TO THEIR CONGREGATIONS BY THEIR INSISTENCE THAT JESUS, THROUGH PETER AND THE POPES HAD GIVEN THEM THE MAGICAL POWER TO BRING ABOUT THIS TRANSUBSTANTIATION. WIKIPEDIA -- Transubstantiation (in Latin, transsubstantiatio, in Greek μετουσίωσις metousiosis) is the change whereby, according to the teaching of the Catholic Church, the bread and the wine used in the sacrament of the Eucharist become, not merely as by a sign or a figure, but also in actual reality the body and blood of Christ. The Catholic Church teaches that the substance or reality of the bread is changed into that of the body of Christ and the substance of the wine into that of his blood, while all that is accessible to the senses (the outward appearances - species in Latin) remains unchanged." |

HOWEVER, AS A BABY, CHILD, AND YOUNG ADULT, I DID INDEED BELIEVE THAT JESUS LIVED IN ETERNITY PAST AS "GOD", AND THAT HE, NOT JEHOVAH, CREATED ALL THE ANIMALS IN THE EARTH AND THEN ADAM AND EVE, AND THAT HE WAS THE "ANGEL OF THE COVENANT" OF THE OLD TESTAMENT. ALSO IT WAS HE, JESUS, NOT JEHOVAH, WHO SPOKE TO ISRAEL IN A VOICE LIKE THUNDER AT MOUNT SINAI, AND WROTE OUT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS WITH HIS (JESUS') OWN FINGER ON THE TABLES OF STONE FOR MOSES!
It was not until December of 1992, when I took a trip to Israel, and then Qumran and the Dead Sea, after starting to read the newly published book by Dr. Barbara Thiering PhD titled "JESUS AND THE RIDDLE OF THE DEAD SEA SCROLLS", that I really started to face the REALITY that Jesus Christ is not really "God" any more than you or I are "God", but a Jewish Rabbi who was also a member of the Cult of "Holy Men" called ESSENES who lived by the Dead Sea at or near the ruins now called Kherbit Qumran.
And indeed, at those times he was associating intimately with a Gnostic Essene woman named Mary Magdalene, which was most of the 3 1/2 years we have Gospel "records" for, he was not allowed inside the Qumran monastery, where only celibates were allowed, but instead lived with Mary Magdalene 6 Km. south of Qumran at a place now labeled Kherbit Mazin on the maps. There was a sort of village there, and a large Synagogue with a water-gate which allowed boats inside the Synagogue.
ONLY THOSE WHO WERE CELIBATE, AND TOOK THE STRAIT (NARROW) GATE FROM THE ESSENE LAUNDRY AND "JACOB'S WELL" (THE MAJOR ESSENE WATER SUPPLY POINT) AT AIN FESHKHA (THE HALF-WAY POINT BETWEEN MAZIN AND QUMRAN) AND TRAVELLED THE "HIGH PATH" OF CELIBACY COULD LIVE IN THE QUMRAN MONASTERY WITH THE ANGELS (WHO NEVER MARRY OR GIVE IN MARRIAGE. SEE MATTHEW 7:13-14.

HOWEVER, IF IT'S GETTIN IN BED WITH "GOD" THAT TURNS YOU ON, THAT'S NEVER BEEN POSSIBLE WITH JEHOVAH, OR WITH FANTASY JESUS, ALTHOUGH THE GREEK FATHER GOD ZEUS, OR JUPITER, WAS QUITE FAMOUS FOR THAT SORT OF THING, ALTHOUGH HIS ROYAL GODDESS-WIFE JUNO TRIED TO KEEP HER GOD-HUSBAND'S MIGHTY SEXUAL URGES IN LINE.
HERE THE GREEK GOD ZEUS, WHO HAS CHANGED INTO A SWAN, IS MAKING OUT WITH LEDA, WIFE OF THE KING OF SPARTA, WITH WHOM HE HAD A NUMBER OF CHILDREN, USUALLY HATCHED FROM EGGS INSTEAD OF BORN THE USUAL WAY.

JESUS AND MARY MAGDALENE (AMONG OTHERS WHO COULDN'T LIVE 6 KM. NORTH OF HERE
AT THE MONASTERY) BECAUSE NONE OF THOSE WHO LIVED HERE (ALONG THE WIDE PATH
THAT LEADS TO DESTRUCTION) WERE CELIBATE.
