"Anthony
Weiner's latest round of sick sexting has attracted
the attention of the city’s top sex crimes cops and
the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Daily News
has learned.
"The
Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s office issued a subpoena
for Weiner’s cell phone and other records, CNN
reported Thursday.
"Weiner, also known as
“Carlos Danger,” a pseudonym he used at one point
for his pervy online exchanges, allegedly sent
raunchy and sexually suggestive photos of himself to
a 15-year-old in North Carolina.
“Detectives are
looking into the incident,” an NYPD spokesman told
The News."
"Manhattan D.A.
Cyrus Vance declined comment on the matter at an
unrelated press conference."
"The multiple
probes could mean federal or state charges for the
52-year-old former congressman."
"According
to published reports, Weiner’s inappropriate
relationship with the underage girl began in
January."
"The teen has
claimed he encouraged her to role play rape
fantasies with him and to say his name while
touching herself."
"It’s just the
latest in a devastating series of cybersex scandals
that destroyed Weiner’s political career and public
image over the last five years — not to mention his
marriage."
"Wife Huma Abedin,
high-profile aide to Hillary Clinton, announced last
month that her six-year marriage to the wacky Weiner
was over."
"Abedin emerged
from her Manhattan home Thursday with the couple’s
4-year-old boy Jordan. She didn’t answer any
questions about her estranged spouse’s alleged
internet involvement with the North Carolina girl."

is reporting that the new emails that have
caused the FBI to reopen the investigation
into the matter of Hillary Clinton
storing classified documents on an unsecured
server were discovered on electronic devices
belonging to former Congressman
Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband
of Clinton aide and confidant Huma Abedin. The
Bureau is investigating an illicit text
message that Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl
living in North Carolina. The new emails are
said to number in the thousands. Something
severe must reside in those emails as the
threshold is very high for the FBI reopening
an investigation so soon before an election of
a presidential candidate."
"In all the annals
of political history dating back to the
ancient Egyptians and Sumerians, so twisty
development has been more bizarre and yet so
fraught with poetic justice. That a pervert
not named Bill Clinton would be the one who
would dash Hillary Clinton’s hopes for the
presidency and perhaps finally send her to
jail is so delicious that it defies satire.
Jon Stewart, retired from television, must be
weeping that he will not be on the air to roll
his eyes and mug for the cameras. But that
reaction is mild compared to what must be
happening behind the scenes with Team
