The "6000 YEAR WAIT"

and the ESSENE "Gospel Pesher", discovered by Dr. Barbara Thiering, PhD explain the real origin of

"THE WAIT FOR JESUS TO RETURN" --

In the Bible, in Luke 24:50 "And he lead them as far as Bethany, " [Gospel Pesher] Bethany was where the beginning of the path was from Jerusalem to Qumran, which was from here a long walk, mostly downward on a desert trail with a stay overnight in the middle of this walk.

Luke 24:50b "--and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. 51 "And it came to pass as he blessed them, that he was parted from them and carried up into heaven."

[Gospel Pesher] "Heaven" is here the Qumran Monastery, as is usually the hidden meaning in such texts, since the Qumran Monastery was where the Essene "Angels" lived celibate lives and were not permitted to marry. Jesus was healing now after his crucifixion and would be gone from the other Essenes at Jerusalem ["parted"] for about 3 years.

Luke 24:52 "And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with GREAT JOY [the "Pesher" name for Mary Magdalene while she was pregnant], 53 "and were continually in the temple ["Pesher" meaning - staying in the Essene quarter of Jerusalem next to Herod's Temple].

Acts 1:4 "And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to WAIT for the PROMISE of the FATHER, 'which' He said, you have heard from Me; 5 "for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be BAPTIZED with the HOLY SPIRIT not many days from now."

HERE we are shown in Dr. Thiering's book "Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls" on page 198

"Ou pollai hemerai "{not many days]' means "not Tuesday 31st (so Friday 31st) (as the Night position 31st was an alternative to Day) (Jn 2:12, Lk 15:13. Acts 1:5. So Jesus is telling his disciples here EXACTLY [the date] that they will be BAPTIZED with the Holy Spirit!

THIS INITIAL "WAITING PERIOD"

was for about 3 years, not 2000 years --

Acts 1:9 "Now when He had spoken these things while they watched, He was taken up --"

[Again the "Pesher" meaning was that He started down the desert path to the Qumran Monastery] and a CLOUD ["Pesher" meaning of "CLOUD" was His brother James, who accompanied Jesus to the monastery where He was now to stay, OUT of SIGHT, for the better part of 3 years].

JESUS HIMSELF was not PRESENT while His disciples received the Holy Spirit at the Feast of Pentecost, but quite likely Simon Magus was present - and a little later Simon was accepted by the other Essenes as their "Pope"

to "John" where you see him performing healing

miracles with Simon Peter .

Between these TWO EVENTS or RELIGIOUS MOVEMENTS, PENTECOST of 33 AD and

PENTECOST of 1900 AD

there was a gap of about 1500 - 1800 years,

a sense or period of

WAITING, that for Christians, at least, was WAITING FOR JESUS TO RETURN

while for those disappointed by Middle Ages Ecclesiastic

PAPAL AUTHORITY and CORRUPTION

these were waiting for the return or

LATTER REIGN OF THE

HOLY SPIRIT!

Now that we have witnessed what actually happened on Oct 22, 1844 and the Pentecostal Revival in Wales and on Azusa Street around 1900. And the "Rapture 88" movement on Sept 11-13, 1988. And what happened in Japan [Atomic Bombs] Aug. 4, 1945. And in Israel and Jerusalem in 1948 and on June 7, 1967 [Jerusalem regained as Israel's capital] -- we can decide what was really meant by the ESSENE authors of Rev. 13.

Simon Peter and "John" [Simon Magus] on the Temple Porch [Acts 3:1-10]

Acts 3:1 "Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 "And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called beautiful, to ask alms [beg] from them who entered the temple."

Dr. Barbara Thiering PhD, author of the 1992 book "Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls" knows who this "certain man lame from his mother's womb is, because in "Gospel Pesher" a "Lame Man" is one not permitted to marry, and "from his mother's womb" means that he's not yet old enough [36 years old] to become engaged to marry if he belongs to a family that produces Essene High Priests or David King "Messiahs". Jesus' brother James fits into this category -- birthday celebrated in 1 AD.

Acts 3:3 "--who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms."

The "Lame Man" [James the brother of Jesus] was in an engagement period, during which celibate Essenes were not allowed to attend religious services at the Essene Gate next to the temple ["the gate which is called beautiful"] What he really wants is not "alms", but permission to attend the "ninth hour prayer service"] Peter and "John" [Simon Magus] figure out a way James can do this, by using a little used rule [with Jesus' permission] that allows His younger brother James to do this.

Acts 3:6 "Then Peter said, 'Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: in the name of [with the permission of your brother] Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up. [Gave him permission to attend the meeting.]

--"AND IMMEDIATELY HIS FEET AND ANKLE BONES RECEIVED STRENGTH:

"7 "--and he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them -- leaping, and praising God."

To continue on to WAIT page 3 and look at other things humanity has WAITED FOR -- >
          1. The Jews are still WAITING for the MESSIAH who will make Israel the CAPITAL of all the EARTH with them [the Jews] in charge!

          2. The PENTECOSTALS, although DISAPPOINTED on Rosh Hashanah of 1988 are still hoping to be RAPTURED any day now to Heaven with Spiritual Bodies incapable of PAIN or SICKNESS or DEATH but capable of every sort of PLEASURE [including SEXUAL] they can imagine. [Marriage no longer necessary!]

         3. Most other Christians will be satisfied with ETERNAL LIFE of any sort, but assume this will not be VEGETARIAN. [That is only a requirement for Hindus and Buddhists, who REINCARNATE, not RESURRECT!]

          4. Seventh-day Adventists, once Jesus appears to resurrect them and perhaps a few others who will keep ALL the TEN COMMAND-MENTS, or agree to do so if allowed to LIVE AGAIN [FOREVER] -- will be required to perform JURY DUTY [not really a chore for them] for 1000 yrs in a heavenly court-room. Then watch as their sentences are carried out [painful burning to death in a "Lake of Fire"] of their former family, friends, and neighbors.

    After which they will be allowed to enjoy a less structured life, including farming and building houses and perhaps raising children who died before reaching adulthood. This later life-time will never come to an end. But BOREDOM is not allowed. Becoming another "Adam and Eve" on another planet is perhaps an option.

   5. The present WAIT for Seventh-day Adventists is "WAITING" for a national SUNDAY LAW, then a world-wide inter-national SUNDAY LAW, with a DEATH DECREE for those who refuse to WORK on Saturday, the Seventh-day Sabbath.

    6. Liking the suspense and importance of such a DEATH DECREE, other Protestant Christians have changed the requirement to denying Christ in a meaningful way, obeying instead an ANTI-CHRIST ruler of some sort. If they resist they'll live on in heaven, but must be BEHEADED to achieve this reward from a Trinitarian Jesus, Who is, of course, ALL POWERFUL. But King of the JEWS once more.

    7. A speculative requirement to live on, be this on earth or in heaven, is to recieve THE MARK OF THE BEAST, a TAW, or 666. OR in Seventh-day Adventist theology keep Saturday as the Sabbath.

    Then it becomes the "Seal of God" NOT the "Mark of the Beast" -- keeping SUNDAY.
