first-born son of the Zealot ESSENE
Joseph,
had a cloud of possible illegitimacy
hanging over his head for his entire life up until he was
crucified as a Zealot by the
Romans. He was the Essene leader of a political group known as the
12 Apostles. He was
not the only Zealot in this group, there were 3 others.
Theudas
was the eldest, perhaps 60 years old or
older, known as Thaddaeus in the 12 Apostles, and
NICODEMUS in the two Gospel Stories he is prominent in, but
becomes Barabbas
when Pontius Pilate accepts
an Essene bribe of 30 pieces of silver NOT to crucify him
along with two other Zealot "murderers" in March of 33 AD.
Judas Iscariot
was the next notable Zealot in this
group, the least anonymous, called only sometimes "SATAN" and
more often the "Betrayer" of Yeshua, who we know better by his
Greek name of
Jesus Christ.
Judas
was the treasurer of the 12 Apostles, and offered the 30
pieces of Silver to Pilate to get himself off from the
crucifixion sentence, with permission to make this offer by the
other Essenes. Pilate, however, insisted that Judas
himself be crucified because as one of the Sicarii, those
Jews known to be accomplished assassins, Pilate was sure he was
indeed the murderer of one or several Roman legionnaires in late 32
AD. Forced to choose someone else to set free other than
Judas, the Essene leaders chose Theudas-Barabbas instead of
Jesus
or
Simon Magus
(Simon the Zealot) because Theudas was a close friend of Herod
Antipas, and as an old man, was likely to die soon anyway, and not
commit so many crimes against the Romans
as were the younger Zealots.
Simon Zelotes
(Simon the Pharisee, Zebedee, Lazarus) was a fellow ruler of the
Essenes with Jesus and Judas Iscariot, and was almost as old as
Theudas-Barabbas.
But he was infamous as a Samaritan Magician, had no friends
among the Essene leaders, and was not considered for clemency
by Pilate. Pilate knew that Jesus had not murdered anyone, and
would have accepted another bribe, another 30 pieces of silver,
for Jesus' release. But to the other Essenes, his life was
not worth that much money, and they had a secret plan in place to be
reasonably sure Jesus would survive this crucifixion with only minor
scars anyway. A secret plan that the Jewish scholar and famous
author Hugh Joseph Schonfield first wrote up in a notable way in "The Passover Plot."
(1965).
Later made into a Hollywood Movie. In Schonfield's
book and the Movie, Jesus survived only long enough for his
disciples to claim he had risen again, but in the real history,
partly revealed by "Gospel Pesher" in Acts, Jesus showed up every
few years to Peter and Paul and many others, and made sure the
Christian Church got a proper start.
The
"Gospel Pesher" shows that Simon Peter, called "Cephas" or "A Stone"
by Jesus was possibly the least educated of the 12 Apostles,
was a married man with a wife and "mother in law" and was initially
employed by
Simon Magus-Zebedee
in that Samaritan Magician's magical
fishing scam at the Essene "Capernaum" located on the shore of the
Dead Sea 6 Km south of the Qumran monastery.

Matthew's
contribution to Simon Peter's later phenomenal success was several
supposed quotations of Jesus referring to "Hell" as a place
to avoid at any cost.
Matthew 5:22 --"I say unto you, That
whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in
danger of the judgment, and whosoever shall say to his brother Raca,
shall be in danger of the (Essene) council: but whosoever shall say,
Thou fool,
shall be in danger of
hell fire."
Matthew 5:29
"And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from
thee; for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should
perish, and not that thy whole body should be
cast into hell."

Essene priest that was also one of Jesus' 12 Apostles wrote
down those speeches and sayings and parables of Jesus that
coincided with what the Quumran Essenes actually taught and
practiced, so I can be quite confidant that what Jesus the
ESSENE actually taught was as DIFFERENT from the "Gospel" that
Paul taught his Gentile audience as
DAY
is from
NIGHT.
Which knowledge allows me to go on with this "Foolish"
project, and "barge in where "Angels fear to tread".
Those who call me a FOOL however should watch out, and
remember where Jesus said such people would spend eternity! |
It's Luke (Cornelias
the Roman "Centurian" of Acts 10:1-3 ) who actually gives us Yeshua's
first public sermon, recorded as a Sabbath day sermon at Mar
Saba (the Essene "Nazareth") built on the edge of a precipitous
drop to the Kidron Brook rushing by far below. On the other side
were many Essene caves, one of which was the home of Jesus and his
parents Joseph and Mary as he was being brought up as a child and
early teen-ager. Other people in that area, also living in
these same caves, remembered Mary, left alone much of the time
with her large and constantly growing family as her Zealot leader
husband was off supervising Zealot attacks and "demonstrations"
against the Roman occupation of their country. Joseph
was crucified in 23 AD, 10 years before his first son Yeshua
suffered a similar fate at Qumran.
Quoting the
prophet Isaiah, and claiming to be the looked-for leader Isaiah was
referring to, Jesus, who was fluent in Aramaic, Hebrew, and Greek,
read and then expounded on the following words---

was delivered unto him the the book of the prophet Esaias.
And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it
was written.
18 "The Spirit
of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach
the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and
recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that
are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, (rolled up the scroll), and he gave
it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all
them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began
to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in
your ears.
22 And all
bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which
proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this
Joseph's son?
23 And he said
unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb,
Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in
Capernaum, do also here in they country.
24 And he
said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his
own country.
25 But I
tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of
Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months,
when great famine was throughout all the land;
26 But unto
none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of
Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow,
27 And many
lepers were in Israel at the time of Eliseus the prophet; and
none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
28 And all
they in the synagogue, when they had heard these things, were
filled with wrath,
29 And rose up, and
thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the
hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him
down headlong.
30 But he passing
through the midst of them went his way." |
Jesus
did make some somewhat radical changes in Essene customs and
requirements during his 31/2 years of "rule" in that he allowed more
privileges and higher grades of authority to be reached by Essene
woman and Gentiles, but the same rigid rules of behavior so
carefully documented in the Dead Sea Scrolls were still "in place"
under Messiah Jesus as had been in place under John the Baptist.
In spite of an assumed laxity in moral behavior that is promoted by
a surface reading of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Priestly Essenes living at the Monastery at Qumran must still
practice celibacy. The monks living there were not
permitted to marry. Jesus Himself was celibate most of the
time. He never himself actually lived at the Essene
Monastery during those 3 1/2 years, but lived in a little stone
house with probably Mary Magdalene and his mother Mary, and possibly
John the Beloved Disciple,
(Eutychus his scribe or penman and
personal servant,
loaned to him for these purposes by
King Herod Agrippa).
Dr
Barbara Thiering PhD, in her 1992 book "Jesus and the Riddle
of the Dead Sea Scrolls" sees in the story of Jesus' post
resurrection conversation with two disciples on the "Road to Emmaus"
(Luke 24:13-31) an agreement between Jesus and "Cleophas" (another
name for his younger brother James), for James to take over
Jesus' position as the "Royal Messiah" of the Essenes, while Jesus
would become the "Priest" (note the blessing) over another group to
be finally known as "Christians" (verse 30, 31) This meal would
become the "MASS" used by Catholics.
Thiering, by using Essene calendars and "Time Codes" embedded in the
"Gospel Pesher" accounts, shows that "Cleophas"-James was 33 years
old at this "transfer", while Jesus, born in 7 BC was 41. The
Epistle of James is the actual "Gospel" of the Family of
Jesus. And is based on "Good Works" not on "Faith".
The Essenes
were all complete Vegetarians (except for insects such as locusts,
not considered to be "meat"). There were no FISHES in the Dead
Sea. With no refrigeration available, fish from Galilee must
be cooked and eaten immediately. Those texts implying Jesus
ate fish are tricks of symbolism -- the fish actually referring to
Christians as fish. "Cooked or roasted FISH" are
actually those Christians who will be taught to believe they will be
"roasted in Hell Fire" if they fail to accept and practice
Roman Catholic doctrines and traditions and rituals like the
MASS.
Luke 24:30 "And as it came to pass, as he sat at meat
with them,
he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to
them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him;
and he
vanished out of their sight." (Becoming the Catholic
"Trinity")
All
the Essenes, including Jesus, designated the "Lord
of the
Sabbath Day", were rigid in their keeping holy the 7th day of the
week. Male Essenes were even forbidden to urinate during the
Sabbath hours, so must "hold it" until the Sabbath was over.
Cold food was eaten. No journeying over 1000 meters. And
no lifting of anything of weight over a certain amount. And
one must "guard the edges of the Sabbath" as Seventh-day Adventists
are well-known the world over for still doing today.
This
actual "Gospel" of
Jesus Christ,
which differed considerably from the "Gospels" of both
Paul
and
Peter
was nearly matched and repeated in
modern times from 1844 to 1888 (44 years) by
Ellen G. White
and the Seventh-day Adventists.
Why do I designate 1888 as the symbolic "END" of Seventh-day
Adventist's adherence to the REAL GOSPEL of Jesus Christ? Because
under the influence of Alonzo T. Jones and Doctor Elton Waggoner they
convinced both the aging Ellen White and her poorly educated church
members to return to Saint Paul's Protestant Christian
"Blood of Christ" (Mithras) Delusion
And in
the 1950s, as the Dead Sea Scrolls were becoming available in
English, Adventists under Beach and others, instead of learning
about the REAL JESUS and what He taught, chose to honor the
Catholic Pope with a medal, symbolically rejoining Saint Peter
and the Popes!
