OMEGA
Ellen G. White –Alpha and Omega
Apostasy

“Be
not deceived;
many will depart from the faith, giving heed
to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. We have now
before us the
alpha of this danger. The
omega
will be of a
most startling nature.” (Selected Messages

“In
the book
Living Temple there is presented the
alpha of deadly heresies.
The omega will follow, and will be received by those who are
not willing to heed the warning God has given.”

have been instructed to warn our people; for
many are in danger of receiving theories and
sophistries that undermine

foundation pillars of the faith.” {Selected

She is not speaking lightly of these theories, but she is
saying that they sweep away the entire foundation of the
Christian faith. (As formerly believed and taught by the
Seventh-day Adventist church.) |
It is only by
understanding that Jesus, John Mark
(author of “John”),
and Paul were all Essenes, and what they really believed and
taught, that we can understand
(and avoid)
this Heresy!

None of the James and Ellen White family believed in the
so-called “Divine
Trinity”
(as mandated by the Nicene Creed) –but J.H. Kellogg, author of
Living Temple came to believe in and teach this
doctrine to make his so-called “Pantheism” acceptable – a
non-personal Holy Spirit, equal to the other 2 persons in the |

“God-head” could be everywhere! Wrote Ellen: “You
are not definitely clear on the personality of God, which is
everything to us as a people. You have virtually destroyed the
Lord God which is “EVERYTHING to us as a people”, (Ellen White
to John Harvey Kellogg, Letter 300 -1903)

Kellogg did not understand God as a personal being, but rather he
had come to view God as three persons. Kellogg, in speaking to Elder
GI Butler, the former president of the General Conference had ran
into so. much controversy
on the
issue of the Trinity and was so out of harmony that he boiled the
issue down to his understanding of the Holy Spirit being a person.
Clearly he was not in agreement with Elder Butler, and clearly
Butler did not believe the Holy Spirit was a person in the sense
that God the Father, and Jesus His Son were person.

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the
common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you and exhort
you that ye should earnestly contend for THE faith which was once
delivered unto the saints…” (Jude 3, 4) …The exhortation to contend
for the faith delivered to the saints, is to us alone. And it is
very important for us to know what for and how to contend. In the
4th verse he gives us the reason why we should contend for THE
faith, a particular faith; “for there are certain men,” or a certain
class who
deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.…
The way spiritualizers have disposed of or denied the only Lord God
and our Lord Jesus Christ is first using the old unscriptural
Trinitarian creed,
viz.,
that Jesus Christ is the eternal God, though they have not one
passage to support it, while we have plain scripture testimony in
abundance that he is the Son of the eternal God.”

“Here we might mention the Trinity, which does away
the personality of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ,
and of sprinkling or pouring instead of being “buried with Christ in
baptism,” “planted in the likeness of his death:” but
we pass from these fables to
notice one that is held sacred by nearly all professed Christians,
both Catholic and Protestant. It is, The change of the Sabbath of
the fourth commandment from the seventh to the first day of the

“It is urged by some of our leaders now that The Holy Spirit
is a third person of the same nature of the Father and Son, a member
of the heavenly trio, cooperative in creation and personally active
with the Father and Son.
For many years I have used these statements of Sr. White in
combating false teachings relative to defining the Holy Spirit.”

Now this is quite interesting that some of our pioneers used
these statements of Ms. White in combating the false teaching
regarding the Holy Spirit. Notice Willie’s clearly non-trinitarian
response.
“In your letter you request me to tell you what I understand
to be my mother’s position in reference to the personality of the
Holy Spirit.” “This I cannot do because I never clearly understood
her teachings on the matter. There always was in my mind some
perplexity regarding the meaning of her utterances which to my
superficial manner of thinking seemed to be somewhat confusing….The
statements and the arguments of some of our ministers in their
effort to prove that the Holy Spirit was an individual as are
God the Father and Christ, the eternal Son, have
perplexed me and sometimes they have made me sad.
One popular teacher said ‘We may regard Him, (the Holy Spirit) as
the fellow who is down here running things.’
My perplexities were lessened a little when I learned from
the dictionary that one of the meanings of personality, was
Characteristics.
It is stated in such a way that I concluded that there might be
personality without bodily form which is possessed by the Father and
the Son.
There are many Scriptures which speak of
the Father and the Son and the absence of Scripture making similar
reference to the united work of the Father and the Holy Spirit or of
Christ and the Holy Spirit,
has led me to believe that the spirit without individuality was the
representative of the Father and the Son throughout the universe,
and it was through the Holy Spirit that they dwell in our hearts and
make us one with the Father and with the Son….” (Letter by Willie

My father,
Russell F. Holt, whose picture you see on the left, was a
Seventh-day Adventist preacher and church school teacher (and
a non-Trinitarian all of his life) partly because he died in
the 1950s while the top church leaders were deciding to
“convert” the entire church to Trinitarians (without the

members knowing
or understanding what they were doing) – on the right is my own
picture as I graduated from Columbia Union College in 1967 – I later
became an Medical Doctor,

I CANNOT IN
GOOD FAITH LEAVE THE CHURCH WITH A PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED, AND THE
IDEA THAT ELLEN WHITE HERSELF, IN HER VISIONS AND DREAMS WAS
NOT
GIVEN THAT SAME SOLUTION. THE SOLUTION WAS GIVEN IN SEVERAL OTHER
DREAMS OF HERS, BUT MOST CLEARLY IN THE "LOADED WAGONS" DREAM.
This vision was given to
Ellen White as a dream at Battle Creek, Michigan in August, 1868.
It is recorded in both LIFE SKETCHES and
TESTIMONIES Vol. 2, pages 594 to 597. I will use the
TESTIMONIES paging for
my presentation
here.
TESTIMONIES 2, page 594 “AN IMPRESSIVE DREAM”
“I dreamed of
being with a large body of people.
A portion of this
assembly started out prepared to journey.
We had heavily loaded wagons.”
| In my interpretation of this vision or
dream, the False Gospel of Saul of Tarsus (Mithraism)
is a large part of the HEAVY LOAD in these Seventh-day
Adventist Wagons! Another part of this HEAVY LOAD is
the TRINITARIAN CATHOLIC Theology of Peter the "First
Pope". |
“As we journeyed, the
road seemed to ascend.”
| As did the PATH, the ESSENE WAY in
Ellen's initial vision of 24 years earlier than this
"Loaded Wagons" DREAM. |
On one side of
this road was a deep precipice; on the other was was a
high, smooth, white wall, like the hard finish upon
plastered rooms.”
“As we
journeyed on, the road grew narrower and steeper."
In some
places it seemed so very narrow that we
concluded that we could no longer travel with
the loaded wagons.”
“We
then loosed them from the horses, took a
portion of the luggage from the wagons and
placed it on the horses, and journeyed on
horseback.”
| Holt's INTERPRETATION:
Some Adventists, but not many, a very
small percentage of the millions of
present-day Adventists, clearly seeing
TRINITARIAN CATHOLICISM as antiquated
non-Biblical ERROR, have cut off this
portion of their belief load, and are now
on horse-back. Part of the
horse's load, however, is that COMFORTABLE
and REASSURING part about the "Blood of
Jesus saving them from all SINS, those
sins that they have committed in the PAST,
and those they fear they may still commit
in the FUTURE! |
As we progressed, the path still
continued to grow narrow.
We were obliged to press close
to the wall, to save ourselves
from falling off the narrow road
down the steep precipice.
| CLOSE to the
WALL equals CLOSE to JESUS,
without which there is NO
SALVATION! |
As we did this, the luggage on
the horses pressed against the
wall, and caused us to sway
towards the precipice.
We
feared that we should fall, and be
dashed to pieces on the rocks.”

We then cut the luggage
from the horses, and it fell
over the precipice."
| There
goes the ALPHA of Apostasy,
Paul's masterpiece,
"Righteousness by Faith",
which even Ellen herself
was not STRONG enough to
confront in 1888. Now
it's just the horses and the
believers, struggling up the
steep and narrow trail,
making their best efforts to
succeed by our own efforts. |
"We continued on
horseback, greatly fearing,
as we came to the narrower
places in the road, that we
should lose our balance, and
fall.
At such times, a hand
seemed to take the bridle,
and guide us over the
perilous way.”
| There's still HELP out there
for those who will ask
for it, and accept it
when it is given, even
if it doesn't match what is
fed to you endlessly by
lying ministers and churches
in the game for your
support and your
money. |
“ As the path grew more narrow, we decided
that we could no longer go with safety on
horseback, and we left the horses and went on
foot, in single file, one following the footsteps of another.”
“ At this point small cords were let down from the top of the pure white wall;
these we eagerly grasped, to aid us in keeping our balance upon the path.
As we traveled, the cord moved along with us.”

Pentecostals, talking and listening to spooks and spirit beings, not to certified and
credentialed ministers of the Gospel. |
“ The path finally became so narrow that we concluded
that we could travel more safely without our shoes; so we slipped them from our feet, and went on some
distance without them. Soon it was decided that we could travel more safely
without our stockings; these were removed, and we journeyed on with bare feet.
We then thought of those who had not accustomed themselves to privations and hardships.
Where were such now? They were not in the company.
At every change, some were left behind, and those only remained who had accustomed themselves to endure hardships.
The privations of the way only made these more eager to press on to the end.”
“ As we heard the sounds of mirth and revelry that seemed
to come from the abyss below, we shuddered. We heard the profane oath,
the vulgar jest, and low, vile song. We heard instrumental music, and loud
laughter, mingled with cursing and cries of anguish and bitter wailing, and were more anxious than ever to keep upon the
narrow, difficult pathway.”
“ I noticed that the beautiful
white wall was stained with blood. It caused a feeling of regret to see the
wall thus stained. This feeling, however, lasted but a moment, as I soon
thought that it was as it should be. Those who are following after will
know
that
others
have
passed
the
narrow,
difficult
way
before
them,
and
will
conclude
that
if
others
were
able
to
pursue
their
onward
course,
they
can
do
the
same.
And
as
the
blood
shall
be
pressed
from
their
aching
feet,
they
will
not
faint
with
discouragement;
but,
seeing
the
blood
upon
the
wall,
they
will
know
that
others
have
endured
the
same
pain.”

perfect
OPPORTUNITY
to
do
so,
ELLEN
resists
the
obvious
TEMPTATION
to
say
this
blood
on
the
WALL
is
"The
BLOOD
of
Christ"
and
has
to
be
his
blood
because
the
WALL
is
WHITE,
and
no
other
human
but
Christ
has
ever
been
able
to
live
a
PERFECT
(WHITE)
LIFE.
No,
she
thinks or
says,
these
are
other
people,
frail
and
imperfect
humans
like
me,
who
torn
and
bleeding
and
screaming
and
crying
with
pain
and
disappointment,
kept
on
going
on,
and
doing
what is
right,.
like
Job,
saying,
"Though
He
(God)
slay
me,
yet
will
I
trust
Him.

We inquired in fearful whispers, ‘To what is the cord attached? ‘ My husband was just before me. Large drops of sweat were falling from his brow, the veins in his neck and temples were increased to double their usual size, and suppressed, agonizing groans came from his lips.”
“ The sweat was dropping from my face, and I felt such anguish as I had never felt before. A fearful struggle was before us. Should we fail here, all the difficulties of our journey had been experienced for naught.”
“ Before us, on the other side of the chasm, was a beautiful field of green grass, about six inches high. I could not see the sun, but bright, soft beams of light, resembling fine gold and silver, were resting upon this field. Nothing I had seen upon earth could compare in beauty and glory with this field. But could we succeed in reaching it! Was the anxious inquiry. Should the cord break, we must perish.”
Again, in whispered anguish, the words were breathed, ‘Who holds the cord?’ For a moment we hesitated to venture. Then we exclaimed. ‘Our only hope is to trust wholly to the cord. It has been our dependence all the difficult way. It will not fail us now.’ Still we were hesitating and distressed. The words were then spoken, ‘God holds the cord. We need not fear.’ These words were then repeated by those behind us, accompanied with, ‘He will not fail us now. He has brought us this far in safety.”
“ My husband then swung himself over the fearful abyss into the beautiful field beyond. I immediately followed. And oh, what a sense of relief and gratitude to God we felt! I heard voices raised in triumphant praise to God. I was happy, perfectly happy.”
“ I awoke, and found that from the anxiety I had experienced in passing over the difficult route, every nerve in my body seemed to be in a tremor. This dream needs no comment. It made such an impression upon my mind that probably every item in it will be vivid before me while my memory shall continue.”

If indeed these messages to the person who my father and other Adventists
believed to have a true connection to the SOURCE of ALL TRUTH,
or at least
to someone TRUTHFUL on the "other side of DEATH"
then I'll try here to INTERPRET what I'm seeing in these last 2 paragraphs.
By condensing the message, picking out meaningful words, and constructing
a logical scientifically possible message.
| There is indeed a REWARD for those who have struggled so hard to do what they believe is RIGHT and TRUTHFUL in spite of all those who may MOCK THEM for their supposedly unnecessary EFFORTS. This REWARD will include but perhaps not be limited to
a sense of relief and gratitude to God and we will hear
voices raised in triumphant praise to God. And such people RARE as they may be will be
happy, perfectly happy.
These feelings she relates are biologically
orgasmic, involving muscular tremors, nerves and what we all experience as our mind.
And this memory will last as long as our mind and our memory lasts.
Which does not guarantee in this my assessment and interpretation that it will be in our typical human brain,
supported by a typically human body. In this day of memory chips, who can really guess?
But then, in what we now know about the Universe, there's lots of both time and space.
There is no TIME
guarantee here, either of when this experience will occur, nor how long it will last.
Perhaps only momentary at the time of death (as some have related) or perhaps lasting for thousands or
millions of years as many have been taught to hope for. Every time ELLEN WHITE dreamed she was there,
she wanted to stay, and never come back.
And finally she made this
trip to the "Other Side", in spite of obvious failings and mistakes. I, for one, hope she is
happy wherever she is. And I hope to join her there some day soon.
