Song: The Garden Where He Prayed "The garden where he prayed was just a garden Until the Son of God knelt down to pray But now we know 'twas here He paid sin's pardon --- The fate of man was changed this day.
The hill of Calvary is just a mountain. But now the Son of God lies bruised and slain. But from His pierced side there flows a fountain That cleanses every crimson stain.
The cross was just a cross until He bore it Alone to bear its agony and pain. A man is just a man until this blessed Savior Comes to take away his guilt and shame.
Oh, won't you take Him now as your Lord and Savior That our Lord might not have died in vain? All songs copyright J. T. Adams |
