adapted as a commercial "Passion Play" for tourists on the Outer Banks of NC

    ACT 2 

  Scene 1 -- The Sanhedrin gather at the temple to plot against Jesus

     Scene 2 --- Jesus triumphantly enters Jerusalem, moving through the joyful crowd.

    ACT 2 continues

 "Scene 3 -- Jesus cleanses the Temple of Jerusalem.

Scene 3 A --- Joseph of Arimathaea approaches Jesus and asks him to teach the way of God.

Scene 3 B --- Mary the Mother of Jesus replies in song.

 

    

ACT 2 continues

 "Scene 4 -- Jesus and the Disciples make camp on a hillside, and Jesus weeps over Jerusalem.

Scene 5 --- Judas makes a bargain with Caiaphas for thirty pieces of silver.

Scene 6 --- At the Last Supper, Jesus predicts that one of the disciples will betray him.

Scene 7 --- Jesus walks among the sleeping disciples in the garden of Gethsemane.

Scene 8 --- Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss.

Scene 9 --- Judas tries to return the silver.
