The Christ of the Cross
However, both the "Gospel Pesher" and the
"Torah Codes" reveal that the "cross" was
only temporary suffering before Christ's
real mission began....the living then, and
still living Christ should be our major focus!
Another ignored Dead Sea Scroll is about Ascension!
And, if one looks closely, its about UFO's also!
Travelling through TIME and to OTHER WORLDS!
So far, there is only ONE human being Who has
really done that and returned to talk about it
convincingly! However, as usual, Dead Sea Scrolls
reserchers have mislabeled this scroll also. ..........
Neither a LIVING Christ nor even a REAL Christ
fit into the plans of a modern world!
HE is here.....WAITING for someone
to TALK TO [ in CODE!].............................
......"(El Elyon gave me a seat among) those perfect forever, a mighty
throne in the congregation of the gods.....None of the kings of the east
shall sit in it and their nobles shall not (come near to it). ...No Edomite
shall be like me in glory, and none shall be exalted save me, nor come
against me...
......For I have taken my seat in the (congregation) in the heavens
And none (find fault with me). ...I shall be reckoned with gods and
established in the holy congregation. ...I do not desire (gold,) as
would a man of flesh; everything precious to me is in the glory of
(my God).
......(The status of a holy temple,) not to be violated, has been
attributed to me, and who can compare with me in glory? ...What
voyager will return and tell (of my equivalent) ...Who (laughs) at
griefs as I do? ...And who is like me (in bearing) evil?
.....Moreover, if I lay down the law in a lecture (my instruction) is
beyond comparison (with any man's). ...And who will attack me for
my utterances? ...And who will contain the flow of my speech?
And who will call me into court and be my equal? ...In my legal
judgement (none will stand against) me. ...I shall be reconed with
gods, and my glory, with (that of) the king's sons. ...Neither refined
gold, nor gold of Ophir (can match my wisdom)."

Once again, to a sensible, logical person, who also
happens to be a Christian, this scroll could only
refer to Jesus Christ, and to NO OTHER...It makes
all the claims that Jesus made, and that billions of
people believe that He and only He is entiltled to!
But again, the professional critics cannot even
entertain the possibility that this scroll refers to
Jesus, because it only partly matches the claims the
"Church" has made for Jesus, complete divinity,
equality with God, and doesn't support the "Trinity"!
Let's first read what Martin Abegg, Jr. has to say to avoid linking
this scroll to Jesus in The Dead Sea Scrolls, A New Translation,
then I will do my best to show you why it could only refer to Jesus!
Page 167, bottom of page..............4Q491 (4QMilhamah)
"In the publication by the original editors, the fragments of 4Q491 were considered to
be the remains of a single work...This work was thought to be a form of the War Scroll,
one with extensive portions that found no exact match in the Cave 1 copy. ...A recent
thorough study of the evidence, however, suggests that 4Q491 is instead three distinct
manuscriptd. ...The original editors had been deceived by the similar appearance of
these manuscripts and had mistakenly grouped the three texts together."
........."Thus recognized, the manuscripts can now be characterized as follows...
Manuscript A represents a text that is similar to the Cave 1 copy, but with a fuller
representation of the seven engagements of the troops in the final battle...
B appears to be a shorter, "Reader's Digest" form of the Cave 1 composition...
Manuscript C [the one we are concerned with here] comprises a hymn that
is not even related to the War Scroll. ...Rather, it is related to the Thanksgiving
Psalms (text 3)."
........"The original publication of Manuscript C's poem suggested it was spoken
by the Archangel Michael (cf. Dan. 10:13; Rev. 12:7), who features prominently
in the War Scroll (1QM 17:6-7). ...The recently available manuscripts from Cave
4, however, now show that this notion is mistaken. ...Instead, the identity of the
speaker here must be directly connected to that of the speaker in the Thanksgiving
Psalms, in the form of address in both places. ..Moreover, in both poems the author
makes the fantastic claim that none can be compared to him, because he is on equal
footing with the heavenly beings (probably to be understood as angels)! . ...If it is
concluded that the Teacher of Righteousness wrote the Thanksgiving Psalms,
he penned Manuscript C's text as well."
In summary, Scholar Abegg has thoughtfully saved his
fellow scholars embarassment and conflict with the
"Church" by attributing this "hymn" to someone no-
one has ever been able to identify, and probably never
will...a possibly fictitious or composite "Teacher of
Righteousness"....not to Jesus Christ, the obvious
choice!
First I'll let Saint Paul of the New Testament speak...As someone whose
CREDENTIALS are not often questioned by Christians of every church!
Philippians 2:6-11 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery
to be equal with god: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him
the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found
in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,
even the death of the cross....
.....Wherefore God has also highly exalted him, and given him a name which
is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of
things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father."
Now let's ignore for the time being the CROSS routine, which every Christian knows ad
nauseum by now, and compare the SECOND HALF of Paul's "creed" with 4Q491 ii.1.
Philippians 2:9-11 | 4Q491 ii.1 |
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him," | "(El Elyon gave me a seat among) those perfect... "none shall be exalted save me, nor come .against me.....I shall be reckoned with gods .and established in the holy congregation." |
"and given him a name that is above every name: | "a mighty throne in the congregation of the gods "None of the kings of the east shall sit in it and . their nobles shall not (come near it). No Edomite shall be like me in glory." |
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" |
"For I have taken my seat in the (congregation) in the heavens. ..And none (find fault with me). (The status of a holy temple,) not to be violated, has been attributed to me, and who can compare with me in glory? " |
"And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." |
"No Edomite shall be like me in glory, and none shall be exalted save me.. who can compare with me in glory? |
Scholar Abegg says, and I quote .."in both poems the
author makes the fantastic claim that none can be com-
pared to him, because he is on equal footing with
heavenly beings..."could it be that Scholar Abegg is
totally ignorant of Paul's claims for Jesus in the New
Testament? It seems these "consensus scholars" have been in a
completely closed conversation with each other so long that they might
as well be living on some other planet than this one!
Once again, if we have been made in the "Image of God"..."I think, therefore I AM", and
are changing for the BETTER...."I AM what I am BECOMING"...We can use logical
thinking here, and ASSUME Paul had a copy of 4Q491 ii.1 before him as he composed
2 Philippians 2:6-11, and after starting out with his favorite subject, the "Cross of Christ",
then quoted 4Q491 ii.1 rewording it slightly for brevity and better Greek syntax....
Why would he do that?...Because he knew Jesus wrote it, and he believed Jesus had
the experience He described, and took the "trip" up into the heavens he said he
did, one that no other voyager had taken.
......In support of this odd claim, no doubt quite "fantastic" to all of these professional
critics, let me point out this is not the only time Paul spoke of such things, if indeed I
am correct in my supposition.....Reminiscing in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, he says....
"I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body,
I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
such as one caught up to the third heaven...And I knew such a man,
(whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
......How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable
words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
......Of such a one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in
mine infirmities." Admittedly, Paul is here being even more "hard to understand"
than usual, but seems to be describing exactly the "trip" described in 4Q491 ii.1...
In spite of, or perhaps because of all this verbal dodging, one can suppose that Paul
not only knew Jesus took such a "trip" but that Paul took a similar trip himself, the
"hint" being that he rather awkwardly repeats the description of this experience!
My conclusion, both Jesus and Paul and possibly
Peter were TIME-SPACE Travelers.......
They had first-hand experience of what they wrote!
