Saving the "City"

an Essene Parable or Riddle in Ecclesiastes

If there is any ONE "City" in the world

that can stand for all other CITIES in the

world, Biblically and Symbolically, it

would have to be New York City,

New York...Other cities may be

Babylon, but NY,NY is THE CITY!

Especially is this true at night, and NY, NY can

truly be called, "The CITY that never SLEEPS!"

 That NY, NY is an"animal" or BEAST,

a living, breathing organism is a simile

easy to understand.."they have no rest

day nor night, who worship the

BEAST and his image..."Rev. 14:11b

Any major event that involves the whole world calls

for a ticker-tape celebration in New York city; lights,

action, noise, all-night partying....and particularly

will this be true of MIDNIGHT, December 31, 1999

....the "Mother" of all New Year's celebrations!

One would expect an event of these proportions to

be prophecied about in the Bible, and indeed it is,

in a very unusual manner, a GOSPEL PESHER

statement in the OLD TESTAMENT, where there

is not supposed to be any "Gospel Pesher"!

The "GOD" or Diety of the last 2000 years has not been Yahweh, or Jehovah,

Whose followers have had to flee repeatedly for their lives, and subsist

wherever they could any way they could, but Jesus Christ.

Mohammed and Budda have indeed had a large following also, but

their followers never claimed Diety status for these "Prophets".

Now the Age dominated by Jesus Christ is ending, and something of this

importance deserves a major statement other than a celebration of the

NEW AGE about to begin!

Threatening Language:

"Babylon is fallen, is

fallen, that

Great City!"

Because much of the world's commerce goes through

New York City or is controlled from somewhere in

New York City, and because the UN is there, one

can assume [wrongly in this case] that Revelation

chapter 18 is about New York City!

Revelation 18:1 "And after these things I saw another angel come down

from heaven, having great power, and the earth was lightened with his

glory." [This could be interpreted as the "Angel" of Technology, bringing

us electricity, the telephone, computers, automobiles, Jet planes, credit

cards, cell phones, Wall Street...everything that makes NY,NY possible!]

2 "And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the

great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils,

and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful

bird. [Everyone knows that the streets of New York city are full of people

of every kind, some of them fairly strange...cross-dressers, exotic dancers,

pediophiles, child prostitutes, freaked out druggies, you name it, it's

here, in New York City!]

3 For all nations have drunk of the WINE of her fornication, and the

kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants

of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her

delicacies." [Home of the World Bank and the United Nations and Wall

Street...where fortunes are won and lost every day!]

4 "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her,

my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive

not of her plagues." [This verse destroys our trial "interpretation" of

Babylon as New York City, as does the repetition of Babylon 2 times,

NUMEROLOGICALLY and ASTROLOGICALLY we can now show

Babylon to be the entire Age of Pisces, 2 x 1000 years, and that God's

people "come out" of Babylon by surviving, and living on in a New Age

that no longer lives and breathes according to "Babylonian" Theology.]

The LITERAL interpretation would be that ALL

JEWS and CHRISTIANS [God's people] must leave

New York City, and indeed ALL large cities, for

these cities will all be [literally] destroyed....But this

literal meaning is not operative in this SYMBOLIC

prophecy!....The CITY lives on, it is the "Age" and

at least the destructive parts of its theology that dies!

Since I appear to be ALL ALONE in saying this,

and there are thousands of Evangelists supporting

the more literal interpretation, it would take a

really unusual scriptural statement to show to

even the most liberal-minded, that there is any

merit at all to my markedly unusual view!

This Scriptural Statement is found in Ecclesiastes, and I stumbled

over it several times before I realized I was reading "Gospel Pesher"

in the Old Testament....and the only possible explanation is that

the Essenes either put it there in its entirety, or edited another

statement originally there so that it BECAME Gospel Pesher!

Ecclesiastes, or Solomon as "Preacher"

 

 Ecclesiastes 9:14 "There was a little

CITY and few men within it; and there

came a great king against it, and

besieged it, and built great bulwarks

against it:

15 Now there was found in it a poor

wise man, and he by his wisdom

delivered the city; yet no man

remembered that same poor man.

16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than

strength: nevertheless the poor man's

wisdom is despised, and his words are

not heard.

17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that

ruleth among fools."

 

Note that verse 17 does not AGREE with the little story that precedes

it, and although verse 17 does sound like one of Solomon's proverbs,

the story provides no details as to which "little" city is indicated, nor

who the "poor" wise man was....NOW FOR THE MAJOR CLUE!

In the midst of the Apocryphal language of Revelation 19 there is

another apparent lapse of logic....similar to here...

In the middle of a chapter in which Jesus Christ is called many names,

"Faithful and True" verse 11, "The Word of God" verse 13, "King

of Kings, and Lord of Lords" verse 16, and "Him that sat upon the

horse" verse 21, is this totally variant phrase, verse 12 b ..."and he

had a name written, that no one knew, but he himself."

The unknown "poor wise man" of Ecclesiastes 9:15 knew his own

name also, although everyone else seems to have forgotten it....so

according to Gospel Pesher rules we can assume that JESUS

CHRIST is the "poor forgotten wise man" who was the one who

DELIVERED THE CITY!

And that it is not Christ's intent to

destroy New York City, and all the

other "little" cities, but save them!

Which, as we have seen, completely changes

the meaning of Revelation chapter 18!

Now that we've made the CONNECTION, let's see if we can DEFEND it,

using the now well known [by some] information about the Essenes

of Qumran and the "Gospel Pesher" they devised..

This is best done, phrase by phrase, with a "Pesher" interpretation.
 Ecc.9:14 "There was a little city..."

This little city would be Qumran, the

New Jerusalem of the Essenes. 

 "and few men within it;"

Qumran could only support a few,

perhaps a hundred or so MEN, no

women were allowed in Qumran..

"and there came a great king against it,"

Not Herod the great nor any of his sons

for the Gospel Pesher shows the

Essenes cooperated with Herod and

he with them.."

"and besieged it,"...

Since "Pesher" works chronologically

we are talking now of Jerusalem and

finally Masada...

"and built great bulwarks against it:"

The Romans built a ramp against

Masada, and for all practical purposes

Essenism seemed destroyed...Qumran

was burned, the Dead Sea Scrolls

buried in caves...Christianity, with the

power of Rome built a religion on Pagan

concepts foreign to Essene law and

ethics...Sins were forgiven for money...

15" Now there was found in that city

a poor wise man.."

That would be Jesus.."poor" because

He was Essene, and the Essenes called

themselves "the POOR", and "wise"

because He devised a plan to defeat

the continued Roman take-over of the

entire world..

"and he by his wisdom delivered the

city;.."

Now the entire world, including New

York City, apparently belongs to Rome,

the Europeans dictate our Politics, and

the Pope tells us what to believe!

.....How then shall the Essene "WISE

MAN" deliver the "little city" of the

Essenes?...By walking the second mile,

turning the other cheek, in a word, by

DOING NOTHING!

......Without the continued support of

Jesus and Divine beings, Babylon will

fall, a victim of it's own weaknesses.

"yet no man remembered that same

poor man..."

Here Jesus is showing His awareness

of the character and avarice of His sup-

posed followers in the end times; they

will ignore the mountain of evidence of

His Essenism, refuse to learn the Gospel

Pesher and claim the Torah Codes are

a "Hoax" or due to coincidence..

16 "Then said I, Wisdom is better than

strength:.."

Now we're into Eastern Philosophy,

poorly understood by the Romans, then

and now...a reed bends, and if broken

grows again when the wind dies down! 

"nevertheless the poor man's wisdom

is despised,.."

Except in a few cases, such as

Mohatma Gandi in India, and Martin

Luther King in America, non-violent

resistance has not been well-accepted.

"and his words are not heard."

The Church decided to follow the rules

and authority preaching of Saint Paul,

with Jesus only a useful "Sacrifice"

.....Especially when Jesus preaches

Essene Ethics, against hate, greed, and

lust, are His words "NOT HEARD."

17 The words of wise men are heard

in quiet more than the cry of him that

ruleth among fools."

 Although contrary to everything that

comes before, this too is according to

Pesher technique, since it is chronolog-

ically LAST....In a New Age, things

MAY be different, and the words of

the poor wise man, the ESSENE

Yeshua ben Miriam, may

finally have a proper hearing!

If not, then it is likely that the LITERAL meaning

of Revelation 18 will prevail until some more

people crawl out of caves somewhere, and

begin again!
