COMPASSION!

RELIGIOUS TOLERATION!
"While
I was praying at the family altar, the Holy Ghost fell upon me, and I
seemed to be rising higher and higher, far above the dark world.”
The Essenes were a separatist group in 1st century
Judaism that sold their “worldly goods” and lived holy lives in
monasteries, such as the now well-known monastery at Qumran, by the Dead
Sea.
As Ellen Harmon goes on to describe what she saw, she describes a
"path" identical to how the Essenes decribed their "WAY"
(their doctrines, their teachings, their customs) -- Ellen saw her
Adventist associates on this path or "WAY" on their way
to a city at the end of this path, which Ellen thought was the New
Jerusalem in Heaven, but that I am suggesting is Qumran pictured
above, the "New Jerusalem of the Essenes. 
After and indeterminate period of time in
Ellen's first vision, some of her associates "stumbled",
and fell off the path, but of those that remained, Ellen starts using
Pentecostal expressions and descriptions instead of the Essene expressions
she started out with.

"If they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before them,
leading them to the city (to Qumran with its Essene doctrines,
teachings, and customs) they were safe. But soon some grew
weary, and said the city was a great way off, and they expected to
have entered it before.
Then Jesus would encourage them by raising His glorious right arm
(raising one's arm or arms during a religious meeting is a Pentecostal
custom, not an Adventist custom), and from His arm came a light which
waved over the Advent band, and they shouted, 'Alleluja!'
This one coded sentence in Ellen's description of her
first vision in December 1844 forecast both the 'Health Reform'
message among Adventists -- and the Pentecostal Revival in
America! The latter an event that did not
occur until more than 50 years after Ellen had this vision!

After
her one sentence description of the early 1900s Pentecostal Revival
(destined to continue for the entire 20th century) Ellen Harmon
returned immediately to her listeners, destined to be "Latter Day
Essenes"
“Others rashly denied the [
ESSENE] LIGHT
behind them and said it was not [
JESUS as God, part of
the ‘Trinity’] that had led them out [ away
from Orthodox theology] so far.
The [ ESSENE] LIGHT
behind them went out , [ no more ‘Spirit of
Prophecy’ ] leaving their feet in perfect DARKNESS, and they STUMBLED
[ into standard Christian belief in ‘Cheap Grace’]
and lost sight of the MARK [of the Beast, Catholic Theology,
that was now Adventist Theology ] and
of the [ human Essene ] Jesus,
and fell off the path down into the dark and wicked [ nominal Christian]
world below.”
A
short, but amazingly accurate picture of what happened in Adventist
theology between 1888 and the 1950s, at which time Adventists had
become orthodox Trinitarians to avoid the stigma of being called a
"cult".
KEY CONCEPT: NONE
OF THE ESSENES, EVEN THE GNOSTIC ESSENES WERE EVER "TRINITARIANS"
IN THE SENSE DECIDED ON BY THE CHRISTIAN BISHOPS AT NICAEA ----

MENTIONS THE "HOLY GHOST" BY NAME -- USING "PESHER"
TECHNIQUE, THIS MEANS A REAPPEARANCE OF THIS EARLIER REVIVAL! |

"Soon we heard the Voice of God like many waters, which
gave us the day and hour of Jesus'
coming. The living saints, 144,000 in number, knew
and understood the voice, while the wicked
thought it was thunder and an earthquake."
These 2
sentences are what separates the two Pentecostal Revivals, and by
understanding what they mean, I, Bob Holt, become the prophetic
equivalent of the "living 144,000 saints" -- the one who
"knew and understood the voice" (although I must admit
that I didn't when God "spoke" on August 18, 1945.) The
"voice" was the sound of two atomic bombs being exploded at
Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. "like many waters" has
three meanings 1)" voice of Lord Shiva" (through
whose hair traditionally in India flows the "many waters of the
Ganges River") and 2)
"the Pacific ocean" ("many
waters" of our largest ocean separating us in the United States
from these two explosions in Japan) and 3)
"Hydrogen" bombs, and "Heavy Water" (these
are two of a number of terms associated at that time with these atomic
bombs).
"When God (Lord Shiva -- the Indian God with the Ganges flowing
through His hair) spoke the time (Aug. 6, 1945, 8:16 AM),
He poured out upon us (American Pentecostals NOT SDAs), the Holy
Ghost, and our faces began to light up and shine with the glory
of God, (two meanings 1) In India, Shiva devotees mark their foreheads
with the "third eye" mark, showing their ability to
"see" spiritually, and "feel" rapture, and 2) in the
USA, this represents the "Holiness Movement and
Churches", as Moses' did when he came down from Mount Sinia."
(The mention of Moses here adds another dimension to the
meaning. Moses when he came down from the mountain led ancient
Israel to the promised land. The explosion of the Atomic bombs
allowed modern Israel to return to their "promised land" after
May 14-15, 1948.)
(The new Pentecostal revival began
with the return of Israel to the Holy Land, and lasted, symbolically at
least, until 1988 and later (40+ years). In 1988-1989, Jimmy
Swaggart confessed that he had "sinned", Christ failed to appear
only to His followers on a cloud as expected, and the "Secret
Raptured" did not occur. The "Late
Great Planet Earth" (Hal Lindsay) still rotated
as usual, and seedtime and harvest continued unabated. More important perhaps
to our present discussion, Ellen Harmon's 1844 vision continued also.

Jesus' new name. At our happy,
holy state the wicked were enraged, and would rush violently up
to lay hands on us to thrust us into prison, when we would stretch
forth the hand in the name of the Lord, and they would fall helpless
to the ground. Then it was that the synagogue
of Satan knew that God had loved us who could wash
one another's feet, and salute each other with a holy
kiss, and they worshipped at our feet."
It was not until yesterday, June 13, 2011, that I
really looked at this part of Ellen Harmon's first vision
close enough and critically enough to understand and
interpret it. The impediment to understanding was the
repetition here of the 144,000 which I had decided by
now meant the Jews that survived the Jewish holocaust of the
1930s and 1940s. Here the meaning has reverted
back to the Essenes. Although most
Seventh-day Adventists are now orthodox Trinitarians, and
disqualified thereby from being classified as Essenes, Jesus
is here using another quality of the Essenes, the
toleration within their group of a number of different
beliefs and indeed whole sects (Pharisees, Sadducees,
Zealots, Samaritans, Magians, Therapeautae, Gnostics, and
perhaps others) treating them all as legitimate and their
brothers and sisters. This knowledge (relatively
unknown in present scholarship) is the key to
understanding the entire above paragraph of Ellen Harmon's
December 1844 vision.
"The
144,000 --" (who
like the Essenes of Qumran of Jesus' day were
compassionate and tolerant of the beliefs of other religious
groups and sects within their number) "were
all sealed" (like
the present-day Hindus had the "Mark" on their
fore-heads indicating spiritual openness and the ability to
perceive "new light" as non-threatening and
potentially useful) "and
perfectly UNITED." (perfectly
united meaning "united in diversity" -- "ALL
ONE", almost the direct opposite of the
"imperfectly united" meaning the Roman Catholic
Church has tried to impose on other Christians for 2000
years. United in compassion and tolerance, not in
dogmatism and intolerance. 
"On

in 666 on their foreheads!)
"God" 
(as
in the Hindu god Lord Shiva's third eye)
"New Jerusalem" (the
Essene designation for Qumran)
"and
a glorious star containing Jesus'

Jesus sitting on his throne in Kashmir wearing a
crown of stars reigning from 25 AD to 49 AD
under the
new name to us of Meghavahana. He later
ruled again
under another new name to us of Pravarasena I.)

the fires of the inquisition!)
