Robert S. Folkenberg was the General Conference President during the years 1990 to 1999. This was the time period during which two important books were published, ---- Jesus and the Riddle of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1992, and The Bible Code in 1997 ------------------------------ the first book, researched and written by Dr. Barbara Thiering, PhD, was published by HarpurSanFrancisco, and revealed GOSPEL PESHER, a new way of reading the Gospels, Acts, and Revelation that allowed the TRUE HISTORY of Jesus and the 12 Apostles (and Paul) to be discovered --- the second book, researched and written by Michael Drosnin, was published by Simon & Schuster, and revealed in a publicly acceptable way (best-seller) the ELS Codes hidden in the Old Testament Bible now readily available to anyone skilled in using a computer. Software cheap -- user friendly. Even I, a relative computer novice, was finding a lot of these ELS codes by the Spring of 1998. Not only were these 2 major new ways of looking at the Bible, and discovering the life and real teachings of the historical Jesus available to ROBERT FOLKENBERG, who prided himself on his ability to assimilate NEW IDEAS and "Computer Technology" but he also proposed to "EDUCATE" all the ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church! But he FAILED to either use, appropriate, or even become interested in either type of Bible Code, and had no excuse for doing so, because I personally gave him examples of Bible Codes that contained his own name in ELS, which revealed some of the things he was then, or had been earlier been doing that Jesus did not approve of! The reason for this FAILURE (and it was a FAILURE) was MONEY --- POWER , Folkenburg, like the heads of most other Catholic and Protestant Churches rightly assumed they would lose both if they started promoting a real Jesus who was an Essene, and not a part of the "Trinity" established by Constantine's Christian Church in the 4th century AD.
