Because withholding the tithe, well, no one would dare!

"not a creature was stirring among the elect" once "sect" is paired with "elect" as this would-be poet has here done, then SDA's should feel complimented, not derided ---

The Essenes of Qumran and the east shore of the Dead Sea, were a "sect" and considered themselves to be the "elect" ---

     And Jesus Christ Himself, and all 12 of the "Apostles", and the Apostle Paul were Essenes, a part of the "Elect Sect"!

      I know this to be true, because I myself have spent 20 years not only reading the proof, but also visiting these sites (as below) ---

     A major cover-up is in place by almost every Christian religion because if their leaders admit that Jesus was an Essene, some major and unpleasant adjustments might be expected to be made in their various religions!  Including holy living and a non-meat diet!
