Matthew 24: Page 4

  March, 33 AD

     Jesus, (Yeshua the son of Mary) told his disciples what would happen at a time fully 100 years in their future in a conversation recorded by his Jewish Essene disciple Matthew Annas in MATTHEW chapter 24.

     During the time period of 132-135 AD, the Jews revolted from the Roman rule of the Emperor Hadrian.  The temple had already been destroyed in the earlier revolt of 66-74 AD, now the Emperor  Hadrian had Jerusalem leveled, and sowed with salt.  
     The Roman Emperor HADRIAN was the one who really fulfilled Jesus' prophecy of about 100 years previously.  

    Another roman Emperor, JULIAN the APOSTATE, hated Christians, and decided to rebuild Jerusalem to prove that Jesus Christ was a FALSE PROPHET.   Below is a bust of JULIAN the APOSTATE.

 

The story of the Emperor Julian “the Apostate” is that he attempted to repair and rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, not because he liked the Jews, but because he hated Jesus and Christianity.
He assumed that if he rebuilt the temple, that would make Jesus a “false prophet” and people would reject him.

 

        However, the ones who did the most DAMAGE to the Jewish RACE, and made it virtually impossible for them to regain control of Judea and Jerusalem after the 4th century AD was the Emperor 

CONSTANTINE THE GREAT

AND THE

PROPHET MOHAMMED

Matthew 24: 10 "And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another."

           11 "And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many."

      Because Constantine was the Roman emperor that decided to legitimize Christianity, he became Christianity's hero, and was made a SAINT by the Roman Catholic Church.    But to the Jews, who have always considered Jesus Christ as a "false prophet", Constantine was the ultimate "false prophet".  And by presiding over the Council of Nicea, that began the process of declaring Jesus Christ to be "God", his sin against Yahweh, the Jewish God of the "Ten Commandments" was even more serious than that of Christ himself, who never clearly declared himself to either be "God" or in any way equal to God. 

      Considered a "Saint" by the Roman Catholic Church, some of the most famous Catholic artists have painted pictures of what are supposed to be the most important moments or scenes in the life of

  The Milvian Bridge over the Tiber River in Rome still exists

today, and people walk and drive over it every day.

I saw it myself when I visited Rome in the 1990s.

    It was just before this battle

 that Constantine is said to have

 had a dream or vision in which

 he saw a cross or variously a

 chi-rho in the sky, and either

 read or heard also, the words --

 "in this sign conquer..."

 The students of Raphael pictured the Baptism of Constantine as

 painted above -- the tradition is that Constantine waited until his

 deathbed to be baptized -- and was baptized naked, as was the

 tradition at that time.

Jesus continued in Matthew 24:12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."

It was largely because of the INIQUITY, graft, and life of ease prevalent  in the Christian world of the SEVENTH CENTURY AD that a relatively unknown Arab tribesman named 

MOHAMMED THE PROPHET

calling this man a "false prophet" can still be quite hazardous to whoever might try it 6 centuries after his death, so I won't try it ---

but let me just point out that Jesus used the plural term "many false prophets" in Matthew 24:11 -- and that Jews and Christians have both had to endure much persecution because of what MOHAMMED supposedly sang or spoke.

 

The Koran, the official record of the visions and experiences of Mohammed during the 7th century AD, forbids pictures of important religious persons.  But it allows pictures of battles.

 

The picture on the left represents Mohammed receiving the Koran from the angel Jabreel [Gabriel].

 

 Other examples of Arab and Islamic art show an obsession with battles, evil angels, and magic.

 

A sword is prominent in the flag of Saudia Arabia, pictured above, and it is customary in Islamic countries to punish offenders against "Sharia Law!

Said Jesus  as quoted in Matthew 24:13 "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."  THIS PROPHECY OF MATTHEW 24 WAS GIVEN TO JEWS AT A JEWISH TEMPLE AND WRITTEN DOWN BY A JEWISH ESSENE PRIEST, MATTHEW ANNAS, AND CONFIRMED BY JEWISH HISTORY BEGINNING 33-40 YEARS AFTER THE PROPHECY AND ONLY INCIDENTALLY  CONCERNS CHRISTIANS!  THE ONES INSTRUCTED TO "ENDURE UNTIL THE END" OF THE AGE WERE THE JEWS, AND THE ONES ACTUALLY "SAVED" AT THAT TIME WERE THE JEWS!
