King of Kashmir and

Father of Jesus Christ!

     "Then Joseph her husband, being a just man (an Essene), and not willing to make her (the pregnant Mary) a publick example, was minded to put her away privily (allow her to give birth secretly).

     "Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:  And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS."

     "And when they (the Wise Men or "Magi") were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him."

     "When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: ---

     And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son."

     "And in the sixth month (June of 8 BC) the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was  Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

     "And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."

     "And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS."

     "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph,  which was the son of Heli, --Which was the son of Matthat, which was the son of Levi, which was the son of Melchi, which was the son of Janna, which was the son of Joseph, --- (many generations before that) --

      Which was the son of Melea, which was the son of Menan, which was the son of Mattatha, which was the son of Nathan, which was the son of David."    

     "And these were born unto him (King David) in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan and Solomon, four, of Bathshua (Bathsheba) the daughter of Amiel: --"

     "And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Ezion-geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.

     And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.  And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.

     And the navy also of Hiram, that brought gold from Ophir, brought in from Ophir great plenty of Almug trees, and precious stones."

     For the king had at sea a navy of Tharshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of Tharshish, bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks."

     "For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Hiram: every three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and peacocks. "

     And king Solomon passed all the kings of earth in riches and wisdom. And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart."   

 NOW I KNOW THAT MATTHEW IS IN THE FIRST OF THE TEXTS I QUOTED ABOVE INDICATING THAT JOSEPH TOOK HIS FAMILY TO "EGYPT", NOT TO PERSIA AND INDIA, BUT THE "WISE MEN" CAME FROM "THE EAST" NOT THE SOUTH OR WEST, AND THAT'S ALSO WHERE ALL THE ITEMS SOLOMON WAS IMPORTING AND TRADING WITH CAME FROM -- THE EXOTIC WOOD, AND JEWELS, AND IVORY (FROM ELEPHANTS) AND APES AND PEACOCKS -- SO IT SHOULD NOT SURPRISE SOME OF YOU THAT I'M GOING TO SUGGEST THAT NATHAN, THE BROTHER OF SOLOMON (AND ANCESTOR OF JOSEPH, FATHER OF JESUS) WAS SENT TO INDIA BY SOLOMON TO HANDLE HIS BUSINESS DEALINGS THERE!  Nathan and his family settled there and one of his descendents many hundreds of years later was Joseph the father of Jesus!

      SO, at this time you can check out all of the other parallel Jesus INFANCY STORIES, or continue on in this series of web pages starting with this one to explore what to most people may be the least likely possibility, that being that Joseph was NOT A CARPENTER from Nazareth in Galilee, but instead a descendent of King David's son NATHAN, who was living in India, in Kashmir, and had become that country's King.  An Essene, he was looking for a very young Essene "virgin" to become his wife, and produce for him some Essene sons and daughters.  In this implausible but quite possible scenario, Jesus was indeed his "first-born son" and the other children listed in Matthew 13 and Mark 6 are also the "fully human" children of both Mary and Joseph!

 “Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the STAR appeared. the king had heard these things, he was troubled, sand all Jerusalem with him.

And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child, and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also."

    When they SAW THE STAR, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy." 

IT'S EVEN POSSIBLE THAT THESE WISE MEN FROM THE EAST KNEW JOSEPH THE YOUNG KING OF KASHMIR PERSONALLY!

 “And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh."

Matthew 2:7-12

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way."

If, indeed, they knew Joseph personally, or at least knew who he was, the youthful "King of Kashmir" they would not, of course, be likely to betray him and his new wife and son to the crafty and insane King Herod they had just met a few hours before!
