Matthew 24: Page 13

MAY 14, 15: 1948

MATTHEW 24 was dictated by the Essene Jesus in 33 AD: Verse 30: “And then shall appear the sign of the [Jewish ] Son of man in heaven: for then shall all the [ Arab ] tribes of the earth mourn, and they [ the
 Arabs and the world] shall see the [ Jewish Jesus, the] Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”  [ see this by what He has allowed to happen -- the REBIRTH of Israel!]  
Verse 31 “ And he [ Jewish Jesus ] shall send his angels   [ ministers, agents, helpers, recruiters,] with the sound of a great trumpet,    [ religious message, call] and they
 shall gather together his elect [ Jews ] from the four winds    [ all the earth, all four directions, north, south, east, and west] from one end of heaven to the other.”
 
Is this the “End of the world? NO! Matthew 24 is only a little more than 1/2 completed! 
Is this the RAPTURE? NO! It’s only the middle of May, in 1948!
Are we THERE yet?    ---- NO!
And THEN, [May 14-15, 1948] shall appear -- the SIGN [ of Isaiah 66:  7, 8 ]

 of the JEWISH Son of man, Jesus Christ 

 [which SIGN is the REBIRTH  of the nation of ISRAEL!]

 

And he [the Jewish Jesus], shall send his
angels [ministers,  agents, recruiters] with a --”trumpet”  [new religious message] and they shall gather together [the Diaspora Jews] from [all the  earth] [to ZION!]
May 14, 1948 was a day of great celebration for the Jewish population of Israel.  Over the years since the end of World War II  in Europe refugees had been streaming in far in excess of the quota imposed by the British.   Smuggled in by boats, such as the one made famous in the famous “Exodus” movie.  And by other means as well.
Israel’s Independence

 

David Ben-Gurion, later elected Prime Minister, gave a speech to a crowd in Tel Aviv declaring the Independence of Israel.

 

Chaim Weizman was elected the first President of Israel. The world held it’s breath, wondering how the Arab nations would respond.

  ISAIAH 66:8

 ISAIAH 66:9-13

     "Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord:  shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

      Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her; rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her;

      That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

      For thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

      As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem."

     ISAIAH 66:14-16

        "And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the Lord shall be known towards his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

      For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

       For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many."

THE MODERN ARAB-ISRAELI

WARS

started on May 15, 1948 -- the day after Israel declared itself a nation.  The so-called "6-day War" occurred in 1967, -- at that time Israel regained control of all of Jerusalem.  The so-called "Yom Kippur War" began on Yom Kippur of 1973.

 ISAIAH 66:19-20

      "And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

       And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord."
The “Archangel” in charge of this vast relocation of Jewish immigrants, mostly by “air” [airplanes], from all the Arab countries, and then Yemen and Ethiopia, was David Ben-Gurion.
