The "Fine Print"

(NECESSARY IN JESUS' ERA TO MAKE IT ESSENE THEOLOGY)   

      John 3:19 "And this is the CONDEMNATION, that LIGHT has come into the WORLD (initial meaning - God created LIGHT on the First Day (Genesis 1:3-5) -- John's meaning in John 3:19 -- OBVIOUS: Jesus has again "created LIGHT in John's era, 4000 years after the initial creation --NOT SO OBVIOUS: Jesus as HORUS now creates light as the SUN, having replaced the dead Osiris as the current major GOD of the Egyptian Trinity Osiris, Isis, and Horus.--- LESS OBVIOUS STILL: Given more time, and the opportunity to do so, the Author of Hewrews (not Paul but Appollos, another Essene Egyptian Theologian and later Christian Apologist) will make it appear that Christ, not Jehovah-Yahweh, created LIGHT in the beginning (In Genesis 1:3-5) closing a possible GAP in the comprehension of those Gentiles it was his assigned purpose to convert to the brand-new Christian Religion.-----

     John 3:19b "---and that men loved DARKNESS rather than LIGHT, because their DEEDS were EVIL"

    This puts what John is writing into a phraseology that is completely in accord with the Essene phraseology of the Essene "Community Rule" but NOT IN ACCORD with what Christianity would later find to be acceptable after the Council of Nicaea and many centuries later, with Christianity as liberalized still further by Martin Luther.

     John 3:20 "For every one that DOETH EVIL hateth the LIGHT, neither cometh to the LIGHT, lest his DEEDS should be reproved."

     John 321 "But he that DOETH TRUTH cometh to the LIGHT, that his DEEDS may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

    This continues a phraseology that is completely in accord with the Essene phraseology of the Essene "Community Rule" but NOT IN ACCORD with what Christianity would later find to be acceptable after the Council of Nicaea and many centuries later, with Christianity as liberalized still further by Martin Luther.

      It's also important to NOTE, time-wise, that this meeting of Nicodemus, "Bartholomew" (actually the Author of "John") and Jesus near Khirbet Mazin about 30 AD was long before Paul was converted and began the process of further improving the ideas and presentation for the purpose of converting more Gentiles to a new and improved Essene theology.

Selling the New Theology to Martha

    We do not have to wait for Paul to meet the Risen Jesus in Damascus (supposedly in a VISION but actually in person) for the offer of Jesus of ETERNAL LIFE ("IMMORTALITY") for everyone in the WORLD who will believe in him (and join and support his church) to be made in terms that do not load up the OFFER with a lot of Essene "fine print".  Middle Ages world-lings and Modern world-lings will not like this "fine print" and may not buy the product.  So Jesus made the OFFER to Martha (pictured above talking to either Lazarus or Jesus) (the gray hair makes his identity a matter of conjecture), just before he raised Lazarus from the dead.

     John 11:20 "Then MARTHA, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but MARY (that would be Mary Magdalene, Martha's sister to those allowed to believe any of this by their chosen churches) sat still in the house."

      21 "Then said MARTHA unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.  22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee."  (Jesus would not be asking Jehovah-Yahweh for this "miracle", but an Essene superior who claimed to speak for Jehovah-Yahweh, but we have no time for such details here).

      23 "Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again."

     24 "MARTHA saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day."  Here Martha is expressing the same belief in the RESURRECTION that was held to be TRUE by all Pharisees including Lazarus and later the Apostle Paul."  But Jesus had other points to make, other beliefs to present to the World, and right here is where he stated them rather CLEARLY.  Clearly enough to be made a part of almost every Protestant FUNERAL Service that I have ever paid much attention to, other than at Seventh-day Adventist Funerals.

      25 "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the LIFE: he that beleveth in me, though he were DEAD, yet shall he LIVE:  26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall NEVER DIE. Believeth thou this?"

      27 "She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world."

     THAT'S ALL MODERN CHRISTIANS NEED TO KNOW AND TO SAY TO LIVE FOREVER, TO "NEVER DIE", AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ALLOW ANYONE LIKE ME TO "EXPLAIN AWAY" THIS PROMISE OF JESUS, OR ADD ON ANY OTHER CONDITIONS, SUCH AS "LIVING A GOOD LIFE" -- OR EVEN, IN SOME CASES, EVER SETTING FOOT INTO A CHRISTIAN CHURCH, OR PAYING TITHE, OR LIVING IN HOLY MATRIMONY WITH ONE WOMAN, OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU AND I MIGHT ASSUME MIGHT BE REASONABLE CONDITIONS TO BE ALLOWED INTO "HEAVEN", THERE TO LIVE ON FOREVER AND EVER!

     I'm calling this Promise of Jesus to MARTHA, the "Standard Christian Promise of IMMORTALITY" -- although Catholics would ADD, without DOUBT, other "Conditions" --- You must be a baptized Roman Catholic, go to Confession and Mass when able, and a whole host of other more minor conditions we can't go into here.
