The Present Effort to Redate It!

Rick Larson is not a preacher, and not an astronomer nor astrologer, but he does do a lot of lecturing on the subjects of re-dating the date of Christ's birth and what constituted the "Star of Bethlehem."

According to Frederick A. Larson, fondly called “Rick” Larson by those charmed by his homey evangelical presentation and now a DVD, it was his daughter, not the old Radio Church of God professor that inspired his “new” research.

Using Professor Ernest Martin's initial speculation that Herod the Great may not have died until the 1 BC eclipse of the moon, "Rick" Larson runs various constellations and conjunctions of various planets across his screen until he found those which suit his fancy and appear attractive to his large audiences until he finds some closer to the traditional Christmas date and much closer to the year "0" or 1 BC.
