The Gulf War, 1991
"At the end of the Iran-Iraq War of 1980–1988, Iraq emerged with its
state intact and a reinforced sense of national pride, but laden with
massive debts. Iraq had largely financed the war effort through loans,
and owed some $37 billion to Gulf creditors in 1990. Iraqi President
Saddam Hussein called on the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait to cancel
the Iraqi debt they held, arguing that the loans should be considered
payments to Iraq for protecting the Arabian Peninsula from Iranian
expansionism, but his appeals went unanswered. The Gulf states’
refusal to cancel Iraq’s war debts contributed to Saddam Hussein’s
decision to make threats against Iraq’s rich, but militarily weak,
neighbor Kuwait."

But On August 2, 1990, a force of one
hundred thousand Iraqi troops invaded Kuwait and overran the country
in a matter of hours. The invasion of Kuwait led to a United Nations
Security Council embargo and sanctions on Iraq and a U.S.-led
coalition air and ground war, which began on January 16, 1991, and
ended with an Iraqi defeat and retreat from Kuwait on February 28,
1991.
I I don't have
space here to relate many of the events leading up to the Gulf War
that the US later called "Operation Desert Storm" but poison gas was
being stockpiled, and some was being used. Missiles were fired
into Israel. And people were watching the NEWS for hours every day
expecting the "mother of all wars" to start.
This was all fitting quite well with the prophetic expectations of the
"Rapture 88" Religious Croup who had made the prediction that the
final "Rapture" would occur in the Fall of 1991.
It was during the very tense time just prior to president
George H. W. Bush's
deadline for
Saddam Hussein to
withdraw from
Kuwait that I went
back to Jerusalem. That seems like an irresponsible thing to do,
but Ron had convinced me of the prophetic importance of the
Golden Ark being
finally revealed again to the world -- now it appeared ready to slip
into
ARMAGEDDON!

The
only airliner that was available at the time and price I could take
off from my emergency room duties was an El Al airliner, who looked at
all the archaeology type tools I was taking in my baggage and kept me
under surveillance in an upstairs room at the airport until it was
time for the plane to take off. Then they escorted me out to the
plane by myself separate from all my baggage.
When I arrived
at my hotel near the Damascas Gate, I decided to see if it were
possible to see if there was another tunnel other than Ron's tunnel I
could get into because the Garden Tomb had withdrawn permission for
him to dig any more in his former excavation. I noted there was
another cave adjoining that area called the "Banana Cave" where an
Arab merchant stored trucks and banannas. I bribed several
Palestinian Arab teenagers to see if they could get me in the door
temporarily at least.

Here's a drawing of the inside of the "banana cave" and some notes in
my diary . I've written -- on left side towards Garden Tomb
--concrete block structure and doors -- on far right truck
control area --in center in back -- storage.
The owners
refused us entry -- but I looked around for about 1 minute.
I later
confirmed that this area of the "banana cave" is indeed where
Jerimiah's cave was in Bible times -- here's 3 pictures showing
changes over the years.

An Angel outside Zechariah's Cave!
I spent
most of the next day in Zedekiah's cave, also known as "King
Solomon's Quarry" because it is assumed that much of the stone for
the temple was quarried out of this large cave or room. As you can
see at the back of the cave there are a lot of tunnels branching out
in various directions. And below this level are other tunnels also
in other directions. Once you're more than a little inside its
dark. I came prepared with a flashlight on a headband, a warm
coverall, and a large ball of twine which I could fasten to
something and go a ways, then follow the twine back to know I hadn't
taken any wrong turns. Also a few matches. I went for
long trecks and back, but my batteries finally went dead, the string
was not very helpful, and my matches were all gone. A glimpse
at my watch let me know that in less than an hour the cave would
close and be locked up for the night.
In the
pitch blackness I had to listen to a still small voice to decide which
way to go. It was so quiet I could hear the blood running and my
head and my heart beating. I walked out the door about five
minutes to closing time!

The next
day I was back -- a bit wiser but still tired. I confirmed what
Ron Wyatt knew already, that when they built the modern road, the
rocks and fill had obliterated the original tunnel or tunnels that led
in the direction of the Garden Tomb. I did have a compass, of
course -- and fresh batteries.

Ron Wyatt
taught me that you can tell when you're talking to an angel because
they know exactly what you're doing and can read your mind.
If you ask them a question in your mind without moving your mouth or
changing your facial expression. and they answer your question
directly and accurately, that's a pretty sure sign.
This
fellow on the bench said he was a professor of languages in a local
college, and also a tour guide. "You tell me where you want to
go, " he said. "I'll take you there!" I thanked him, and
declined. Later, I caught on he was an angel. The possibilities
of what he might have done for me if I had more FAITH still haunt me.
I might have seen the Golden Ark that very day myself!"

Mount Moriah
Mount Moriah, as outlined on the right, is thought to be the
Holiest mountain on earth by both Muslims and Jews. It is
traditionally the spot where Abraham offered Isaac, but Muslims
deny this, and say he offered Ishmael there instead, Solomon
and later Herod the Great built the Holy temple there, but the
Romans burned it down in 70 AD. Since then the Muslim "Dome
of the Rock" has been located there.
It appears that
the "Garden Tomb" is located on the same moutain top. |

Dr. Kent Hovind, PhD
as remembered by Michel Snoeck
wiseoldgoat.com 2005 and 2006
"Apparently Jeremiah took the Ark of the
Covenant and the temple furniture from the temple, outside the city.
There's a tunnel, called Jeremiah's Passageway, that's caved in at
several spots. Richard Reeves, who worked with Ron Wyatt, has been
working on this for years, digging out this tunnel. Some places are
still open. There are all kinds of tunnels under Jerusalem.
There's another city hidden under that
city, ok. And who knows what hasn't been discovered?
 |
But apparently, they took
the ark of the covenant and all this temple furniture outside the city
wall, but inside the siege wall. Well, if you look where
that arrow is pointing, that is Golgotha, the place where Jesus was
crucified. The Garden Tomb is right there. I was there a couple years
ago and am going back in the spring back to Jerusalem. Oh, it was
incredible. If you get the chance to go to the Holy Land, get over
there. It's called the Place of the Skull.
|
Jeremiah's Grotto is now a place where they store
bananas. A couple of Muslims own it and they store fruit there to
sell. But apparently in Jeremiah's Grotto, you can see it there, the
place of the skull, where they stoned Stephen, the garden tomb,
Gordon's Calvary, and Jesus was crucified right there. He was buried
just a short distance away in the tomb. And we get into more later on
the Crucifixion site.

But Ron was digging in that area, Ron Wyatt, who died
in 1999.
And his..., you can get all of his discoveries from our ministry.
There's only, I think there are only two people who sell his
DVD's, him and us. $100.00 for his DVD series.
It's phenomenal. If you wanna watch, there is
what..., 5 DVD's I think, yeah. You wanna get all of Ron Wyatt's
discoveries. You can see more about this. Just contact our
ministry, $100,00 and get it. But Ron said he was digging outside
there in Jeremiah's Grotto area, and they found the Crucifixion
site; he covers it all on the DVD's; and they found this little
cave. |
 |
They had a Muslim friend working with him,
helping him dig dirt. you know, he just paid this guy to dig. He was
squeezing down in this little hole, digging around, and he came out
screaming: “I quit. I quit.” And left.
So Ron went in there. And according to Ron, I
talked with him for hours about it. And he said: “Brother Hovind, if
you told me this story, I wouldn't have believed ye. But, it happened
to me. And I know that all liars have their part in the lake of fire.”
I knew Ron personally. I think he was a good man. If I was God, I
would let him find this kind of stuff, because he wasn't looking for
glory. He was looking to glorify God. So, other people, other
Christians, other..., and even good friends of mine, say: “Oh, Ron is
wrong. He is...,” you know, I get blasted for even mentioning Ron. And
Eric, you and I on our video series, creation science, Answering
the Critics we cover some of that on this DVD series, if you want
to get of those DVD's, our answers to the critics.

But Ron Wyatt said he squeezed down into this
little hole, and there's this little cave about 4 feet (1.3 m) high.
And he saw several things in there. As he looked around with his
flashlight, he found for instance, the Table of Shewbread; the golden
table that the Jews had built 3,000 years ago. Jeremiah hid that stuff
in there, built a false wall in front of it. And there's this concrete
box, like a concrete, but is is actually rock hollowed out. The lid
was broken according to Ron. He went over there and looked at this
lid. And he couldn't see in it because the ceiling was too short. But
all over this lid, was a black stuff like dried catsup, but it turned
out to be blood, according to Ron. Right above the crack in the lid
was a crack in the ceiling of this little short cave. That crack in
the ceiling went all the way up to where Jesus was crucified 20 feet
(6 m) straight up through solid rock.
All this is according to Ron. I've never seen that. But
there are other folks who say, yes, that is correct. I mean, I don't
know. But it preaches good at least. Apparently, Jesus died on the
Cross, and His blood ran right down onto the Mercy Seat, which is
where the blood was supposed to go when there was a sacrifice. But
Jeremiah had stuck it there 600 years earlier. And the blood ran right
down to the Mercy Seat.
Now “Uzza put forth his hand
and touched the ark” and God killed him. So when Ron told the Jewish
authorities: “Hé, here's your Ark.” They said: “Oh, we're not gonna
touch that.” It's still there, waiting for the new Temple to be built.
Then they're gonna get it out and put it in the Temple. So, you can go
to www.wyattmuseum.com and talk to Richard. He will just say: “I don't
know. It's what Ron said.” And that's the best I can do too.
